Thread: Crazed Italian hurt after jumping, hanging from power lines

An Italian man was hurt after climbing a pole, jumping to an electricity wire and falling.

Askari Jamshid, 48, suffered cuts and bruises in the April 8 incideant outside C-Post Co. on Soi X-Zyte. He had to be restrained by police while being treated by medics.

A 14-year-old witness, who shot a video of the manic Italian dressed only in shorts, said she saw the man walk into the construction site and start climbing a six-meter-tall pole. He then leaped to a power line and attempted to hang there until he fell and was hurt.

It took several passersby to restrain the man until authorities arrived.

Maybe he lived on the ground floor

It looked to me like he accidentally fell rather than deliberately jumped.

I mean maybe he was attempting to electrocute himself, go out with a bang, so to speak
