^ Miss da point, agin, Dan. We conservatives don't shout; you just cannae get the point so we have to explain it agin in baby talk fer ya...you're just brainwashed welfare cases or supporters thereof. Jealous of anyone who makes more than you. Jealous of folks that are smarter, richer, or even prettier than you, that have better family values, nicer politer kids with morals & work ethics (like their parents), etc. Ya, did we all grow up in rich ramilies? No. We learned that you work hard, do whatever to live without a handout, get an education and pay for it by working PT and thereafter.
Asking for or expecting a handout? NEVER.
Yea....whatever....Gotta go...ummm.....home....and...umm.....pull out my own eyeballs. See ya.
Christ Dan, don't go pulling yer eyeballs out.......how am I supposed to turn you into a good conservative if you can' read my stuff?.......

Other that that rather foolish threat.....great post....

What I would really like to know is if you know Dan, or any of us, to know we are jealous blah blah blah? How do you know we are not smart, rich, or pretty enough without being jealous of others? How do you know we are not smarter, richer, blah blah than reactionaries who claim we are jealous? What makes you think WE don't have work ethics? And why IN HELL do you think we accept handouts? (Like Social security you mean?)

This is the Internet and an anonymous forum. Any one can claim anything. I can claim I have a 32' Choy Lee or that I used to be a Doberman pinscher.

Oh happy days. Robuzo send me a nice message with his nice "red"

Quote: "I forgot to mention. Go Fuck yourself. That's what repos are for" Unquote.

Then over in the Repo thread, Robuzo was telling the world that he has no time for posters who don't engage in dialogue, but instead just hang out on the fringe sniping at other posters. (It's worth a read) Now I think any objective reader would find more than just a whiff of hypocricy coming from our Robuzo...

What a splendid fellow. What a demonstration of maturity and debating skills he has shown..... Well done Robuzo. Now your really need to take your ball and bat; fuck off home and stop trying to spoil the game.

No sympathy is expected or required. Just showing people what a nasty, miserable cretin you are, not to mention your sheer fucking hypocricy. For once try walking the walk and talking the talk instead of behaving like a complete asshole.....if that's in any way possible. Sheesh.....

^You're in the wrong thread, asshole. Go bitch in the repo thread, where I also wrote, "I generally reserve sending reds for really offensive shit, racist comments and the like, to genuinely offensive posters." For example, you. By the way, that's two misspellings of "hypocrisy" in a row, oh wise one. Third time a charm?

Most older people don't have too many worries in their retirement if they worked during their lives, the thing that gets to them is dying without the dignity they think they should be getting from the younger generations of American society. They have to die with the blame on their hands unlike their fathers who mostly passed on as the generation which made America great. It's not about money for all.

So where would all this "really offensive shit", and "racist comments" be exactly....?
Can you point to it....provide a clue as to what the hell you are yapping about.

......and now we have another one of the last resort attack lines being raised.....find a minor spelling error or typo.....that's a really big hit....WOW.......do you think if I go searching through all your posts, I might find some minor thing like that to score a point or two....? Never mind, it's far too petty, and I would not bother. (I don't use spell check....I like to live dangerously)

You have shown no inclination whatsoever to actually counter any of the arguments or points I've posted, or to make any case of your own....then you keep saying I'm not worth the effort of debate.....but you still keep coming back for more.. except all we ever get is this pathetic childish ad hominem shit....

...and now we have Dan chirping in (so far all he has done is chirp) about how I'm "insulting people" by responding to insults....to one person...not "people".

There have been no personal attacks or insults against any individual on this thread from me, and not that many from anyone actually, until you two showed up.

I'm not going to keep going round in circles with either of you, because you are not here to argue or debate anything. You are just here to engage in petty sniping, spit poison, envy and hatred against anyone who might see things in a different way than you.
I think anyone who cares to scroll through this thread with an objective eye will see that.....so go ahead and spit as much of your poison as you like.....I'm done with you unless you can come up with something worthy of a response, and I'm not holding my breath on that one....

I will continue to engage with anyone else; friend or foe who shows some basic civility; a bit of good humor, and has anything to say that is worth commenting on.
There is a special section here on TD for those who want to just sling mud and behave like idiots etc.

Hmm, typical libbie retort. Cannae respond logically, so responds hysterically -- the usual verbal tantrum hurl from a slob at the playground for mentally challenged überobamanites.

Union workers, including city workers such as firemen and cops, across the US have been forced to huge pension cuts, resulting in millions of people have far less for retirement than they planned. Meanwhile, the "best and brightest" at our financial institutions blow up the economy and are bailed out with tax money, and from those bailouts continue to pay themselves obscene bonuses. And people are confused about what is bothering the OWS protesters. . .

How bout it Robuzo....are you up for it or not???

I see, sorry. Still, my point stands. It must take a lot of effort to cope when you get to the end of a career that you just can't continue effectively at an advanced age, and find out your pension has been slashed.

Yep. Then there you are at 60+ out looking for a job. If you are lucky you get a part time job paying minimum wage. If really lucky, you can be greeter at Walmart! Is it any wonder so many older people show up at Occupy rallies?

In the UK there was an assumption that all the unemployed could always find work shelf filling at supermarkets. The big four Tesco, Salisbury's, Asda and Morrison's were regularly offering shifts for anyone it was reported. Now the "staff wanted" posters have vanished and short shifts are the norm. A recent ad for civil service staff for entry grade positions offering 500 nationwide jobs attracted 20,000 applicants.

The share prices of the supermarkets, usually a safe hold during a recession, are cratering. The revenue is decreasing as people buy more and more from the "basics" range as opposed to the "taste the difference" and hence more expensive range.

The, post 50 years of age, unemployment rate has risen every year for the past 5 years. More are going from a month or two out of work, to 1 and 2 year search for even a minimum wage job.

Fuel, utilities, food and housing costs are way above the official inflation rates. These costs are not discretionary for most families and therefore cannot be shaved to reduce their weekly spend.

Press reports of supermarket directors offloading their share prior to price sensitive information becoming public are dismissed by regulatory bodies.

This social discord will only get worse as more unemployment is announced and interest rates rise in the future.

Thanks Agent.... I know all this stuff happens unfortunately, but I don't think it's a "conservative" exclusive kind of thing; or at least the small number of us on this thread have not been accused of it.... so far.... I don't think too many "conservatives" these days go for that "spare the rod and spoil the child" stuff that Victorian England embraced so readily. (It seemed to work though....they never had much in the way of "youth problems"...when ol Victoria was around... it's hard to misbehave when you'r stuck up a chimney.....)
