Yer becoming tiresome snub but keep that head well buried in the sand, eh?
Re-read that ad from the Working Families Party looking to hire protesters for Wall Street and offering $350-650 a week, depending on responsibility and length of time on staff: FIGHT TO HOLD WALL STREET ACCOUNTABLE NOW! A Deplorable Bitter Clinger

I was trying to find a video of Jon Stewart on the Daily Show - Global Edition that aired last night, really wades into the Teaparty and the US media over the OWS demo's. Unfortunately I couldn't find it on YT or Google, but if you can watch it through the Daily Show site or catch-up on your local provider it's well worth a look.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
I will not allow you to spread lies. We have had enough of you fox news robots.Originally Posted by Boon Mee

They're not hiring protesters, they are hiring staff for the WFP to help organisation, fundraising and communication.
Anyway.. a) why would they need to hire protesters when there are already so many that are voluntarily giving their time and b) how many do you think they're going to hire for $500 a week..? 1,000..? 10,000.. I know it's not your strong point, but do the math. For those candidates that qualify WFP offers substantial paid-training provided by senior leadership, on varied issues such as: advocacy, public speaking, mobilizing, fundraising, networking and organizing. We invest in passionate people with excellent communication skills and a full benefits package is offered to those candidates that qualify. In addition, there is opportunity for advancement and travel to our satellite chapters and out of state affiliates.
Please go and tell your Blogamentalist friends to get with the program,
if they can't make signs they can always help with the coffee and cakes.

Ok how many protesters are they hiring? It would have to be at least a thousand to make an impact.. that's $500,000 a week for their wages. Ok maybe thats too many let's just say 500 protesters, that $250,000 a week, does that sound more likely..? Get a grip Boon, they are hiring staff to help organise their involvement in the demonstrations.
All you are doing really is highlighting the the cause of the protesters and those organisations that are getting involved further. The protests of the Tea-party and the OWS are not entirely dissimilar, but the OWS is more literate and more astute.
The OWS protests are fighting for the rights of the Teabaggers too, it's just that the Teabaggers are too dumb to understand it, but some will, I'm sure there will be a drift of many of the Tea-party protesters that joined up because they wanted to be heard, that will see the message of the OWS as more representative of their own situation.

The protests on Wall Street and claim to be wanting those responsible for Wall Street failures is a front. Look at all the socialist and anti capitalism signs that accompany. I wouldn't be surprise if it was the current administrations doing to take the focus off their failure to move the US in the right direction economically, financially, or any other way.
I'm looking to join the protest to hang those responsible for the Solyndra loan scandal and Barney Franks for support of the Frannie and Freddi expansions and for not having adequate controls established for their oversight. We need to linch these folks up as well as those responsible for Wall Street shams and failures.
"Don't Sweat the Small Stuff....and it is all small stuff"
Please expand; a front for what? What do you see in these protests that makes you think the White House is involved?Originally Posted by SEA Traveler

These are mostly rif raf college grads with no jobs. Rotten luck for them. The govt. pushed for the loans to unqualified home buyers and useless blacks - thats right useless blacks - and Wall Street delivered. The financial colapse was caused by Uncle Sam.
I am in NY, forecast is for rain Wed or Thurs, should put a damper on things. Also will turn cold in 2 weeks. Was 85 last weekend, lets see who many hang around when it goes into 30's at night. . Not me for sure, will be having a cold Chang this weekend.

Occupy Wall Street: Who are the targets of the 'Millionaires March?'
Occupy Wall street protesters Tuesday marched on the residences of some of the power brokers they say are responsible, at least in part, for the nation's economic ills.
The Occupy Wall Street movement got personal Tuesday as protesters marched on the residences of some of the richest and most powerful residents of New York City.
Banker Jamie Dimon. Billionaire political donor David Koch. Fox News magnate Rupert Murdoch.
Those were some of people targeted in a so-called "millionaires march." The Occupy Wall Street supporters have pitched their three-week-old protest as movement by "the 99 percent." This march puts a face on the "1 percent" they oppose, power brokers who they allege are responsible, at least in part, for the nation's economic ills.
Where protesters in the 1960s had "the Man" to fight against, the "1 percent" may be today's equivalent code word for an establishment elite -- and those who enable or profit from it.
Hundreds of the 99-percenters marched along New York sidewalks Tuesday, pacing two-by-two because they didn't have a permit and were trying not to disrupt ordinary traffic.

Occupy Chicago Protestor Getting Paid $22/Hour Plus Overtime
Business Insider has obtained a video interview of a seemingly well-informed Chicago protestor who mentions -- almost in passing -- that he gets paid $22 an hour plus overtime to participate in a Chicago offshoot of the "Occupy Wall Street" protests.
The man describes his protesting work as a "full time gig" and added that an unnamed benefactor, who is presumably providing the salary, is "getting [his] money's worth."
An hourly wage of $22 per hour is three times the current minimum wage of $7.33.
Occupy Chicago Protestor Getting Paid $22/Hour Plus Overtime? [VIDEO] - International Business Times

A Chicago-based "Occupy Wall Street" protestor is allegedly getting paid -- more than many Americans with actual jobs -- to protest corporate greed and the unemployment rate in the United States.

It is unclear if the protestor is legitimate or if he is an actor hired to discredit the "Occupy Wall Street" movement. If he is an actor, he's a good one -- he appears well-versed on the grievances of the "Occupy" protestors, and doesn't mention the renumeration until later in the interview.
This a link to the same article as before. I am really starting to think you don't read anything but the headline.Originally Posted by Boon Mee

And I thought the OWS protesters were more clever than Tea Partiers.

The big problem 'governance' systems worldwide (diverse systems, yet fundamentally identical) have in maintaining the status quo (the rich controlling the masses) is the internet.
Up to the point where the net became nearly universally available, control was easy, since money could buy all channels of communication and news dispersal/interpretation. All that has changed, and the control has broken down.
Today's world-wide clamour to live as a human and not a slave is different from all that has gone before for this one reason.
There are only two options left to 'the establishment'. Take total control of the net, or change quickly. Absent one of these two actions the violence and bloodshed of the French Revolution will soon look like an amateurish rehearsal of the real thing.
Divide and rule has seen it's days in this context. People still arguing about the details of what is for all practical purposes yesterday's system, political and economic, are in for a rude awakening.

Stop reposting shit booners especially unfounded lies. The poster of that video concedes that he doesn't know that it is true. This is nothing more then some rightwing teaturd who put on some scruffy clothes and went down to the local bus stop with a sign while his buddy filmed the so called interview.
Pure garbage.
Yep. Just like them nasty Tea Baggers, huh?
Occupy Wall Street Zombies Lastest Chant: “You Can Have Sex With Animals”
So this is what Obama and Pelosi are supporting?
Occupied Wall Street zombies chant “You can have sex with animals” at Zuccotti Park. Urban Infidel braved the odor to catch this grotesque display in New York.
