Actually, Mike Pence, Climate Change Has Nothing To Do With A ‘Liberal’ Agenda
His disingenuous comments ignore the GOP politicians who have spoken out on climate issues.

“For some reason or another, this issue of climate change has emerged as a paramount issue for the left in this country and around the world,” Pence said. “It’s long been a goal of the liberal left in this country to advance a climate change agenda.”

MIKE PENCE IS A CLIMATE CHANGE DENIER
    Gov. Mike Pence
    Indiana
"I don't know that that is a resolved issue in science today ... just a few years ago we were talking about global warming. We haven't seen a lot of warming lately. I remember back in the 70's we were talking about the coming ice age."

In 2008, 82 of Indiana’s 92 counties were declared as presidential disaster areas due to winter weather, severe storms, and flooding. 17,000 families suffered damage to their residence, and housing became a significant challenge for the state.

2016 was Earth's warmest year on record, international report shows
Greenhouse gases, sea level also continue to rise

By Emilee Speck - Digital journalist
    Posted: 2:28 PM, August 10, 2017

1 AU (EARTH) - Last year was the hottest ever recorded on Earth in 137 years, an international report released Thursday from the American Meteorological Society shows.

The 2016 State of Climate report shows that the temperatures continue to rise, each year surpassing the last.

The State of Climate is based on information from more than 500 scientists from 60 countries using tens of thousands of measurements from independent data. The report is released every year and is led by the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information.

Read the full State of Climate report here.

“Major indicators of climate change continued to reflect trends consistent with a warming planet,” the report said.

Greenhouse gases were also measured at a record high for 2016. The gases which are a combination of carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide, surpassed 400 parts per million for the first time in 800,000 years, according to the report.

Global sea levels achieved a new record high in 2016, the sixth year in a row that Earth has seen an increase in sea levels.

Translation: As Earth’s climate changes it directly affects sea level rise, greenhouse gas concentrations and land and ocean temperatures. But scientists have been proving that for years.

Copernicus – July 2017 second warmest July on record

July 2017 extended the spell of exceptional global warmth that has now lasted since mid-2015. It was:
    • 0.45OC warmer than the average July from 1981-2010;
    • the second warmest July on record, by a margin of about 0.1 OC;
    • a little under 0.1OC cooler than July 2016.

    _________

From JMA – July 2017 second warmest July recorded

The monthly anomaly of the global average surface temperature in July 2017 (i.e. the average of the near-surface air temperature over land and the SST) was +0.41°C above the 1981-2010 average (+0.75°C above the 20th century average), and was the 2nd warmest since 1891. On a longer time scale, global average surface temperatures have risen at a rate of about 0.69°C per century.

    1st. 2016 (+0.43°C), 2nd. 2017 (+0.41°C), 3rd. 2015 (+0.38°C), 4th. 1998 (+0.30°C), 5th. 2014 (+0.28°C)
    _________

    NASA – July 2017

According to GISS NASA, the average global surface temperature anomaly for July was 0.83 °C, which is 0.01 °C more than the July 2016, making July 2017 the hottest July in the record.

The problem Landy isn't so much the questionable data you present.
But how lost within the data you and so many like you have become.

The global environmental problems are truly obvious.

The solutions require no ponderous scientific diagnosis.

The solutions are quite simple, and can be summed up in two words: CONSUME LESS

It all so simple, so no need to dazzle with the pretty color graghs and alarmist charts.

So tell us why aren't the 97% of the scientific consensus addressjng the issue of less consumption with vigor?

Is it because the so called science is actually owned by the very same government and banking cartels which fund them.

Talk about a deceptive shell game...

Fools such as yourself really have no business commenting on serious issues, over which you hold a stunning lack of knowledge and understanding.
Trying to subvert proven science by alluding to your corrupt and wildly inaccurate theories, is a reach too far, even for such an unashamed dummy as you.
Stick to your forte, the science of piss.

So please tell me how observing that the planet is under severe environment duress, is somehow stupid.
While you're at it you can explain why simple pragmatic solutions cannot apply.

Seems to me dimbulb alarmists simply want to blow hot air and forment fear (a la greedy fuckwit Al Gore), and not truly address the environmental catastrophy which is in progress.

That's not stupid, the stupid comes when you invariably then veer off onto your hobby-horse tangents and irrelevancies and wind-up conflating issues.

In reality all the climate change alarmism does just that; conflate the issue of environment destruction.

There can be absolutely no question our wildly wasteful and heavily poluting consumer culture does in fact harm the environment.
How can you possibly doubt the consensus of 97% of the scientific community?

The only question which seems impossible for you to address is why aren't governments endeavoring to reduce consumption, rather than blindly seeking to increase GDP?

Nothing is being done on a larger scale, at least by your country, because your stupid fucking twat of a president pulled out of the Paris Agreement and wants to go back to burning coal, you imbecile.

See. You are, as predicted, light years behind contemporary knowledge, understanding and science.
Adding your own irrelevant thoughts on non connected issues, makes your case as cloudy as infected piss.

In short, you are nowhere near as smart as you seem to think you are. You are an embittered old relic.

    This.

I've remarked on it before, but the only one that seems to think that Earl's an enlightened, free and independent, thinker unfettered and unconstrained by conventional rigid paradigms of thought is Earl himself.

And he drinks his own piss so you gotta be a bit suss about his judgement.

If I ever visit Earl, I will certainly be balking at any offer of lemon cordial.

However it would be interesting to have a chat with him....he has a lot more wisdom that you and a couple of others give him credit for, Ant.

There is just that elephant in the room...

You are accidentally partially correct in that they set the bar too low.

However, when orange cunto comes along and kicks it over, muppets like you then decide it wasn't worth doing in the first place.

Baa Baa little lamb, I bet you believe all those orange cunto tweets as well.

These experts say we have three years to get climate change under control. And they’re the optimists.

A group of prominent scientists, policymakers, and corporate leaders released a statement Wednesday warning that if the world doesn’t set greenhouse gas emissions on a downward path by 2020, it could become impossible to contain climate change within safe limits.

The group, led by Christiana Figueres, who oversaw the United Nations negotiations that produced the Paris climate agreement, base their caseon simple math. The world, they calculate, probably has a maximum of 600 billion remaining tons of carbon dioxide that can be emitted if we want a good chance of holding the rise in planetary temperatures within the Paris limit of 1.5 to 2 degrees Celsius (2.7 to 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit).
With 41 billion tons emitted every year from energy consumption and other sources, such as deforestation, there are only about 15 years before that budget is exhausted.

Cows are more damaging to the environment than cars, so lets kill all cows, nature can reclaim the grazing land and greenhouse gasses drop by 18% overnight.
