The show doesn't show any harm coming to other species. Nothing else gives a shit whether we live or die. We're deadly only to ourselves.

I don't believe you should feel guilty either. We are insignificant as a species and as individuals.

And who knows? Maybe those two ideas are mutually exclusive.
