    is it mainstream if it's aired once on the BBC ? you raise a valid point about making it acceptable and that's the danger of freedom of expression. As long as it's an exception, it's acceptable, it simply represent an "extreme corner" of the political flora and as such it needs to be aired "occasionally" or "rarely" to its fullest. If it was to become regular, then it would be unacceptable. Regardless, it will always be controversial.
