The mod in charge has a veto and may classify any communication pertaining to the performing of duty of all servicepersonel.

Wrongdoings by moderators will be dealt with by an internal committee, selected from active mods and supervised by the mod in charge.

I now understand why Thai Visa does not allow discussions of moderation issues on the forum. Their policy, while it is somewhat dictatorial, does help us to avoid the in-depth revelations of how seriously you all take yourselves, and worse, your internet personae.

I disagree modertion should be talked about especially crap moderation.
Thai visa's is so fuking inept that there would be thousands of threads on the issue.
at least here it's limited to the issues forum.

On TV mods may pursue their vendettas unchecked, here the moderating discussions tend to get tedious to the extreme - though some results have been rather constructive, and I think better of the forum for it.

I think the sign of a mature forum is that they at least allow moderation to be discussed.
thaivisa is in a class of its own here.

evena jarn has a troubleshootin forum to allow mod criticism.
I'm all for it being aired.
it should be limited to these two threads though.
possibly even one.
in fact i think they should be merged into one criticise a mod thread.

not that i think these type of threads serve any purpose whatsoever, but it will give all the little girls a place to bitch and moan.....it's seeping into the other threads, and hopefully this will quarantine it.

If you have a query or complaint about a specific mod action, try to resolve it first via pm with a mod, before going public.

Why should he ? Are PMs protected under some type of forum Privacy Act ?

If I ask him to forward me strollers abusive PMs then he should be able to send me them under some sort of forum Freedom of Information Act.

Nah, DD just happened to be on patrol, noticed a PM was posted, and typo'd a plural to infer it was several pms.
