What i will say here is that like him or love him, stroller was put in charge of issues because the place was an un moderated slagfest.
Within 6 months he has taken it from being the least popular forum to one of the most popular.

I don't take the credit for this, but it has co-incided with myself introducing a mod team and different policies in here.

Btw, recently it's become very hard to moderate here, many threads have turned silly or into flamewars, even the moderating is creating a lot of further attacks.

No, it's a legitimate feature of the board.
By contrast, posting a one-liner counting someone's duration of membership in the middle of a serious debate is about as silly as it gets - I won't comment further on it.

Well it was his idea, he runs it and selected the MOD team to help him, as CMN said prior to this most of the threads degenerated into a slagfest.
So what if you have a post or two deleted, it's just a forum for fuck sake not the end of the world....just get over it.

well I guess this explains why most forums won't discuss moderation openly, because a handful of hatetrolls will always go all the way to stir the shit up because of their sillyness. The truth is they can't acknowledge that their posts were deleted because they were just silly. I had a ton of my silly posts being deleted, big fucking deal.

I thought I'd just start doing some of my own bitching seeing it seems to work for all those bleacher sitting square butts who think they should be able to run the place because they paid their $1.50.
