Where is it?
Evidence of thermite would be very compelling.
That video only shows the last 7 seconds of the WTC7 collapse. It doesn't show how the collapse of the east penthouse which caused the internal supports to collapse causing the building to fold into itself.Quote:
Plus if you watch the videos of the building that was not hit by a plane, it goes down in freefall, that is, without any resistance whatsoever from underneath. Office fires (the official explanation) doesn't cause this, only a controlled demolition would break the structure in such a way to allow this to happen.
Also your video omits any views of the south side of the building which sustained the heavy damage from the debris of WTC1. All the firefighters on the the scene reported massive damage to the building and raging out of control fires.
So there is indeed plenty of evidence to support the "official" story and precious little evidence to support any conspiracy ideas.
You just whistling dixie laddie!:mid:
Better than average chance the towers did collapse as a direct result of the strike but I can't see how, given the massive damage to one side, they didn't fall to one side instead of straight down. I've read almost all the 'plot' stuff and don't see a lot of merit in most of it but that seems odd.
On the subject, this isn't a "tin foil hat" job but I can't find a single photo or video of the aircraft going into the Pentagon.
I would like to see that so I can dismiss that one as well.
Ok , so office fires and debris caused the building to collapse, in free-fall, directly into its own footprint. And you actually believe this ?
I don't, 700 architects and engineers don't, anyone with half a brain realises that this official story doesn't add up, but hey if you want to swallow any old bs they spoon feed you, go ahead be my guest :mid:
Oh, the mods deleted the post between Mr Earl's and mine; very naughty for not deleting my post and making it look as if I was commenting on Earl's.
As I read, the engineers built the towers that way so if one fell, it would not damage surrounding bldgs. You ever see them blow up bldgs? They implode and go straight down.
So, news out today that the mozzie group does NOT own the whole bldg - it leases part from Con-Ed. How many more lies should we expect? Still, Con-Ed can't alter the contract, unless these jerks default.
Con Ed Will Not Block the Ground Zero Mosque, Despite Reports - DNAinfo.com
No need to quote, use your common sense. You really think office fires caused that building to collapse ?
You got no idea about engineering do you, you just swallow any old crap they spoon-feed you eh ?
I suppose we were in the middle ages instead of 2010, and someone showed good evidence that the world was round, you'd be one of those screaming and shouting that the world was flat.

The proof is that office fires don't make a modern building to collapse like that. Engineers know this. That's why there are 700+ engineers and architects calling for a public investigation. I already posted the link.
If we were living in the middle ages, not 2010, and a scientist said the world was round, you would probably be one of those to throw up your hands and point to the horizon and say "but, but..... look, its flat !"
This is going way off topic, and getting a bit to heated Gents (trashed posts), so please get back to the thread topic, if you must debate why WTC went down make a new thread but keep it civil here in Issues.

Dunno, would you want a mosque next door to your home? I always got a hotel as far away from mosques when I was in Malaysia, mostly so I wasn't rudely awakened by the imam screeching over a scratchy loud speaker to announce prayer time.
Also, the possibility of violence. Wonder what they do to local property prices.
Anyhow, a bit of news:
FOXNews.com - Ground Zero Controversy Fueled Attacks on Texas Mosque, Islamic Center President Says
sccr hound, you are partly correct in that the Civil War started because Abe wanted the South to follow his rules over social and economic issues. The South told him to FO. Actually, Abe was a pretty sh*tty prez when you know more about him.
Excellent idea...new bus ad approved by NYC Metro

Congratulations to Pamela Geller of Stop Islamization of America and the American Freedom Defense Initiative for this victory…
NEW YORK (AP) — New York City’s transit agency has approved a bus advertisement that depicts a plane flying toward the World Trade Center’s towers as they burn along with a rendering of a proposed mosque near ground zero.
The ad was paid for by the American Freedom Defense Initiative, an organization that opposes radical Islamic influence in the United States. The group’s executive director says she doesn’t find the ad offensive.
The group sued the Metropolitan Transportation Authority to demand it accept the ad, which was approved Monday.
Offensive? Perhaps only to those left-wing progressives who hate America...:mid:

Nice one!!!
OMG! You mean standing up for anything other than ethnic and illegal people's rights are allowed now? :)
Check this out. Can the current US govt get any worse? Wait til this gets coverage today. Yikes.
WASHINGTON– State Department officials on Monday confirmed Feisal Abdul Rauf, the Imam of the so-called Ground Zero Mosque, will soon be going on a trip of the Middle East and the U.S. government will be picking up the tab.
U'mm, right:-
“He is a distinguished Muslim cleric,” said State Department Spokesman P.J. Crowley. “We do have a program whereby, through our Educational and Cultural Affairs Bureau here at the State Department, we send people from Muslim communities here in this country around the world to help people overseas understand our society and the role of religion within our society.”
So the State Department sends some moderate Muslim clerics on trips to Muslim countries- whats so bad about that? For that matter, whos to say this is a policy unique to the Obama administration, the Fox article says nothing of the sort.
It certainly reinforces Rauf's credentials as a moderate, however.
^ Actually, I just heard that he was first sent over under the Bush govt. However, the man's views have shifted to a more radical stance, which underscores my belief that they put religion first, country second. Hate them more with each passing day.
I would think if you asked any devoutly religious person, be they Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, or Scientoligist, their answer would always be religion first.Quote:

That is so interesting. I assume by that you are saying Muslims are natural traitors because they put the Almighty before country.
By that definition you have to extend that bullshit to the USMC.
Pretty much every reference I can find puts God before country.

Nope. Love the Marines. To the Marines I know, God and Country are one.
Anyone believing in any religion has a serious problem IMO, the US with it's fundamentalist bible belt, and those, almost insane, people with terrible much influence all the way to the top in US politics.
Then we have the religion off peace:rolleyes:, Islam that terrorizes it's followers, especially the female kind, and aggressively encroaches on secular societies, demanding special considerations and respect, while giving none in return.
Those religions along with most others, demand the right to build their houses of worship, structures that in reality celebrates oppression, threat's and bigotry, like giant tombstones reminding us of the countless millions of deaths those brain-dead and utterly false fantasies have cost humanity, and will cost in the future.
There should be no Cordoba centre for the simple reason, that it is a slap in the face of the people that died at WTC and their families left behind, and all the other innocents that have died in religious conflicts, in fact all mosques and churches and synagogs ect. should be raised to the ground everywhere IMHO, unless they within, lets say 30 days, produce irrefutable scientific hands on proof of an existing God, they have had more than 2000 years to do it in, enough is enough.
