That was McCain.

He took the risk. He wanted Tom Ridge, and someone else (I forgot who) and the Xtian publicly throw a temper tantrum. He backed down, and picked Palin to acquiese to the Xtian right.

I think she is a huge liability and totally inept.

But, give it a few years of coaching, makeovers, careful manipulation.....

She's definitely got her coaches and tutors.

Question is, will she try to run. If she starts an exploratory committe in 1 1/2 years, she might.

Again, I don't see her as the GOP nominee - or - as a VP. She was a disastrous VP, and broke many rules of the campaign. No Presidential candidate would want to put up her - or her family, IMO.
