It was on the news section. The story opens with
"A federal judge has found parts of President Obama's immigration executive actions unconstitutional" and that is also what the host said introducing the story and that is patently untrue.
I am not putting any spin on it. FOX is.
In law-talking dude speak the Judge's little rant about the executive action is, at best, "dicta" meaning it is SOLELY his opinion and has no binding force of law. Legally it is as relevant as if he'd taken a moment to opine on who should be the NFL MVP this season in the middle of his opinion. Rule #1 of federal courts: No "advisory" opinions allowed, there must be an "actual case or controversy" in front of the judge to decide on or the ruling is null and void.
It is a prime example of FOX lying in the middle of the news section which you say strives to tell the truth.
