    Personal Attacks By Moderators

You still don't know what 'communism' is. I told you to read Marx and Engels.

Kerry is a capitalist to the bone. No communist would ever be elected to any public office in the U.S. His voting record is all-market.

Once again, you demonstrate the mentality a lowly enlisted man, poorly read, the only job you have ever had is a flunky squid on a base, watching a wharehouse, while playing on a computer.

Even in your late 40s you can still attempt to learn and think. The chances of you doing this are slim, but I still think you may be able to.

    __________________________________________________ __________

Unless I'm mistaken I am allowed to express an opinion, correct ? I know alot of my fellow posters don't agree with what my opinions are. We jostle around ... take a punch at each other.

But when did it become tolerated to completely go overboard with taunting ... demeaning ... condenscending comments ... especially from a moderator ?

Unless the poster is some sort of acclaimed intellect, academic or has expert knowledge then his opinion hasn't been reviewed by higher authority. And isn't any better than mine.

Why am I posting this? Because I ignored exactly this sort of thing on another forum and just returned volley whenever I was taunted by posters like Milkman, Raycarey, Covertjay and others (thent01)... and since I never reported these things I ended up getting banned ... and that's right out of LDMAs mouth.

I was wrongfully banned from the ajarn forum when the fact of the matter is Milkman, theent01 and Raycarey were as big a part of the problem as I was. The post I noted above from Milkman is exactly the sort of thing that LDMA tolerated over on ajarn

I don't think there's any secret over the issues forum mods, it's the other stealthy bastards you want to watch out for.

Yes, Milkman is a mod: https://teakdoor.com/issues/4078-issu...uidelines.html

I copy this from the concerned thread, further comments about attacks and moderating here, not there, please:

I'm much more than capable of beating back pusilanimous pissants like Milkdud ... problem is for me is that I learned pretty quickly I'll have to whine otherwise one day I'll end up trying to log on and find myself banned without even a warning.
    That's not fair.
I wouldn't have said anything, because it wasn't a really bad attack that needs attention, similar stuff from other posters has been left standing. To me as an outsider, it looks more like the 2 of you are used to exchanging such 'compliments', and both of you assured me before that you're 'cool' with each other.

It hasn't gone unnoticed that you've made an effort, SK, and at least from my part this is appreciated.

You are absolutely right RC ... spot on. Until you wake up one day and are banned from a forum without warning. This happened to me and one of LDMAs comments was that I had NEVER complained about the posts of others.

OK ... FUCK it ... this isn't going to work at all.

Keep reading ... you'll see what happens when I break out and start kicking his ass on an intellectual level but an abusive level as well ...

I trust you RC ... just watch over the next couple of weeks ...

Well, by contrast, you've done a fair bit of complaining about others' posts, as well as the moderators here.

Noone is gonna ban you from Issues, I personally guarantee this.
You haven't even got an "official" warning, which would precede any suspension.

Btw, MMilkman is online. Come on, help me out before SK goes postal!

Mr. SK, you did post a quite harsh post against me last week. You made some good cuts on my. I didnt' complain. I didn't ask for anyone to do anything.

It's a matter of reason and judgement.

The Ajarn forum is another forum and what happened there was not related to me at all. I never said a things until after you were banned there.

    And, here is NOT there.

I keep everything within reason. I will never mess with your posts.

Don't worry about your name. It's a secret no matter what. I've known your full name for at least 2 years and I never have told anybody and I never will. So don't change. Be yourself. And if that means cutting, then go ahead. It's only a forum.

Issues section moves quickly. If you have a problem with one of my posts you can PM Stroller or PM me, or just post it here on the board.

    Cheers, bud.

The ones who didn't get banned by the imbecile admin.
Georgie had to come back with various different nics and hand money over as a "sponsor" to be tolerated.

My two cents (not directed any anyone here, just based on personal experience):

Should a mod post differently simply because he or she is a mod? I think not.

I don't think, however, that a mod should edit someone else's posts simply because the posts offend or attack the mod. Let the chips fall where they may. Complaining about someone's posts just seems so childish. I've never really understood this and I've been a mod and admin at several forums in the past.

If you don't like what someone posted just ignore it. Complaining just makes you look even more petty. In general on every forum I've modded or admin'ed: I think the person doing the initial complaining needs to grow up.

I was banned from the ajarn forum. And the head moderator told all of these guys ... MtD, CMN, AO, Milkdud ... that I should have complained instead of just threatening a fellow poster in a thread started by CMN. He said he never received a single complaint from me ... I posted in that forum for over two years and never had any warnings about being abusive from LDMA ... I made the wrong assumption and got BANNED.

I agree with what you're saying surasak and I can flat out guarantee you that I ain't worried about nothing except being unfairly banned again.

Maybe it's because I believe Mods should read a lot but be restrained, and be carefull when they do something.

Nothing worse than mods who "do too much." Some other forums actually ran themselves into the ground because all of the mods thought they had to "move this and that, edit this, delete that, warn this person, and ban that person."

It's about common sense, and the character of the members and the nature of each particular forum.

I almost all of the member who post in Issues stick to the topic, avoid ad hominum, and follow the rules, for the most part. Sometimes we go over the line a bit. But this is almost always isolated.

Good on you, Milky. I'm sure Sailor Boy will tell everyone that his real name is Gabrielle Serge Bumberger in his own time.

This is in the mod's room, isn't it?

Just checked my repo ... got a couple greens from posters I've never gotten a green from before. So I guess I'm not completely clueless ... now I feel bad about my ugly post in the other thread... but not that bad to edit it I guess. Well, at least for now I'm ahead of Milkdud in the repo point race.

I know you're joking Marmite, but for the record, NO. SK's name is NOT in the Mod's room nor any room, nor anywhere.

People's names, photos, addresses are private and always private.

On these matters, I am very serious. None of us are running for Congress of Member of Parliament (I think) but we must have codes of common sense. Like me or not, I can be trusted. It was the way I was brought up.

    SK:

SK, I'm not sure what you mean or who you are referring to, but if you are referring to Raycare, and if you cut him, and he cuts you, that's between you and him. I don't take any sides, no matter who I may agree with over-all.

I respect your positions, but in these touchy topics, it's easy for many of us, to get a little direct and heated. it's only, a forum. Politics should not be personal as rule.
