I doubt that obama will ever be celebrated by DAR, but then, his father's folks were likely beating drums in what is now Kenya and selling off tribal enemies as slaves to the Portuguese when the American Revolution was happening. Dunno about his mother's side.

How nice of you to call the USA the "Greatest Country In The World". That it is, despite the fact you put that in quotes to disassociate yourself with the remark. Obama is a slick talker with great charisma and the wonderful backing of blacks, unions, tree huggers, welfare recipients, and folks who really thought he would do something big. Oh, he's doing that alright. Making the biggest mess of the country ever. Not even one year into his term, people were seeing how he is derailing the country. His financial reform is his next screw up, forming a big bail-out kitty for the big banks.

What Bamboy is trying to achieve is the massive growth of the Federal Gov't at the expense of states rights. He has created 100's & 100's of new federal agencies.

It will take a long time to undo the harm he has done.

The only time I'm aware of that Obama has stepped out of line was his criticism of that awful Supreme Court decision during the State of the nation speech. Contrasted against that, you've got the nuthouse brigade of the far Right and their ridiculous, bigoted attacks- and more importantly, prominent politicians and media figures such as Michelle Bachman and Rush Limbaugh that actually pander to this.

President Obama has been every inch a gentleman in comparison. And the classy way he single handedly flyswatted the assembled Republicans at some RNC(?) dinner was just magnificent to behold.
