the mccain campaign responded to questions about her being MIA with..

"She's not scared to answer questions," Davis said, "but you know what? We run our campaign not the news media."

not too defensive, eh? i'm thinking that she's not able to handle the policy issues placed before her and they're afraid to put her in front of a camera. let's not forget that it took her 6 years and 5 colleges to finagle an undergraduate degree.

and here are a couple of questions she's ducking...

1. What was the most difficult order she has had to give to the Alaskan national guard?
2. Since being the Governor of a state close to Russia is suppose to be some sort of foreign diplomatic experience, I would like to know when was her last negotiation experience with the Russians and what was it over?
3. Does she believe that states should be allowed to secede from the union? and why?
4. What does she think is the best way to lower teen pregnancy rates? and why?
5. What was the most difficult decision she has made in public office? What made it difficult?
6. What does she believe is the best way for the USA to become energy independent?

There is no difficult order, as a Gov we activate when we need, normally for state of emergencies.. weather related, fires ect. However watching them being activated (indirectly yank pressie decision) and heading to War is probably the most difficult to watch because inevitablely in War some will not return.

Budget Cuts - inevitably when you make cuts in the best interest of Alaska and its people - some will be affected. However you must do what is best for the majority even though it might be hard for a few.

6. What does she believe is the best way for the USA to become energy independent?

All of the above: more wind, more solar, more battery, more natural gas, more nuclear, more oil, more flex fuel

well considering how unsuccessful it has been in her own family, how couldn't it be brought up?

It's yet to be seen if the Palin pick will turn out well for McCain in the long run. But so far it sure seems to have done some good for the red team. Engergized the base, tons of free press coverage (without her even going out to stump the press directly), and they're up in the polls.

I am sure that eventually the attention will eventually shift back to the core focus of Obama vs McCain. But US News & World Reports seem to think the blue team are stuggling to respond to the Palin:

I don't know much about Pentecostals, but it seems they are rather devout, how could anyone, not just Palin, separate the two being in this situation?
