^Actually I think it would be refreshing to see someone holding the top spot with little or no political "experience". I don't know why so many folks seem to think that it is better to have someone with decades of time spent in the political muck, as opposed to someone that has gained their life experiences somewhere else.

I don't much care for Obama's platform and McCain will most likely get my vote come November, but I don't hold Obama's level of "experience" against him. If anything IMHO he now has enough basic political experience to understand how the systems works and hopefully avoid procedural issues, while not being tainted by the nastiness that envelopes most long term politicians.

Side note in regard to Hamas: Yes, they did withdraw thier support after Obama's speech at AIPAC where he said Jerusalem should be the capital of Israel and undivided - touchy lot those Hamas.
