what was done was done, the tory party have acknowledged their failures, and there is no point in going on and on and on and on about "we inherited 14 years of tory failure", when a fair amount of that failure was down to opposition parties in the commons and the lords voting down tory policy.

now labour seem to be intent on bankrupting the country in their high spending, high benefit and high immigration socialist agenda. they have had over a year to reverse, or at least put in place policy that supports a reverse, but they truly have no idea what they are doing. they are putting the needs and rights of minorities, criminals, and illegal immigrants over the rights of british citizens.

Britain has welcomed Turkish transgender drag queens on special visas for “global talent”, The Telegraph can reveal.

The “Global Talent visa” permits recipients to stay in the UK for five years along with their dependents, and is intended to bring the very best creatives to the country.

Applicants must have their claimed artist merit endorsed by the Arts Council before visas are ultimately signed off by the Home Office.

The Telegraph has learned that transgender drag queens are among the talents welcomed to Britain, along with Nigerian rappers and poets who now have platforms offering advice on how to obtain UK visas.



Chris Philp, the shadow home secretary, has called for an “urgent” review of the “obviously nonsensical” visa route.

One of those who has received a coveted arts visa is Kübra Uzun, a transgender drag artist and “LGBTQIA+ rights activist” from Istanbul, who goes by the stage name of Q-BRA.

Uzun’s multi-disciplinary oeuvre includes the song Koli Kanonu, translated as “F---buddy Canon”, about going out to find a sexual partner.

The drag artist has also released, on Youtube, a version of a Carmen aria by Georges Bizet, re-writing the lyrics in “Turkish queer slang”.


Mr Philp branded the glut of visas “ludicrous”, telling The Telegraph: “A full review and clampdown on obviously nonsensical arts visa issuance is urgently required.”

He added: “The idea that drag artists represent global talent is frankly laughable. These visas should be for research scientists, IT professionals, medics, people working at the cutting edge of finance or others who will add value to the economy.

“Allowing these visas to be used for drag queens is patently ridiculous and the government should urgently get a grip.”


Scepticism about the Global Talent route comes after The Telegraph revealed that the Government intended to protect skilled worker visa routes for diversity and inclusion experts, despite a promised immigration crackdown.

The Home Office has safeguarded visa application routes for those with specific skills, creating a temporary list of “shortage” occupations.

This list safeguards the positions of “poet” and “blogger”, roles that come under the visa route for the broad category of “authors, writers and translators”.
