Well, when banksy did some work in Jerusalem Chitty posted that he 'showed whose side he is on', ie Israel's.

It all flies way over joe's thick spammy head, as it does with all of these morons planting and painting England flags everywhere.

You can loathe the flag planters and painters, complain and call them morons, but that will make no difference as Reform win the next election, which is looking most likely.

To me, the inexorable rise of Reform is due to the other parties complete failings and inneffectuality, creating a vacuum for Farage and his ilk.

I am quite glad that I'm no longer on the UK electoral role because I wouldn't have any idea who to vote for at the moment.

I would say that I'm moderate, leaning to the right.

However, I despise the Etonian toffs such as Boris Johnston and Cameron, and the Tories seem to have completely disappeared anyway.

Labour's ridiculous energy policy alone would lose them my vote. I also despise unions, I think their day has gone and listening to the union chief defending the latest London tube strike on Radio 5 yesterday only enforced my feelings. I have always been self-employed/freelance and am very much on the 'get on your bike' school of thought if I don't like somewhere.

The only good union to my mind is the all powerful Norwegian SAFE offshore union... it keeps it's members so pampered, work shy and expensive with their endless overtime, allowances, short offshore trips and God knows what else... that I get loads of work. (Project Managers would rather use freelance personnel than Norwegian staff as they have become so expensive - and most are useless anyway).

As for the boats... I don't think anyone has an answer to this self-made problem, pretty much caused by Brexit.

The LibDems? Who would vote for that idiot?

I am certainly no fan of Farage or Reform, but in the absence of a viable alternative they will get in at the next election and it will be due to the complete ineptitude of the current two major parties.

It hasn't been a great start, but it's still early days for this government.

Reform are a one-trick pony, and the more time they spend in the spotlight the more obvious it is.

Why do you think they are a one trick pony Cyril? They havent got into govt yet so that is an unknown and purely an assumption on your part. I believe they have quite a few other policies like scrapping net zero and DEI. What do you have against people hoisting their countries flag? You would hate America in that case. Imagine going to Scotland and cutting down a few St Andrews flags. I've never understood what this self loathing is that appears to be driven by the left and seems to pervade English society? It appears to me as an outsider that Brits are on the road to self destruction.
There is the 3.5% rule which says that's enough percentage of a specific migrant demographic to get into positions of power and effect real political and social change in their favour. At the rate Muslims are outpacing white Brits in the baby making stakes that may not be far away.

Sadly the flag of England and of Great Britain were hijacked by the right wing decades ago.

That you think it appropriate to quote from Sun Tzu in this context makes you seem about 100 years old.

Do you lot get telegrams from the King?

Did you ever go up against the Fuzzy Wuzzies?

Sympl will support any socialist no matter what they have done, he's blind to anything that the left do wrong - the catalogue of abuse of power and mismanagement from labour grows but of course its degrees of abuse or mismanagament as far as Sympl is concerned.

Takes talent to be runner up in most reviled t Robinson of the week.

Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, better known as Tommy Robinson, has lost an appeal against his 18-month prison sentence for contempt of court.

Yaxley-Lennon was jailed last October after he ignored a court order not to repeat lies about a man, who had successfully sued him for libel.

Those who wish to disrespect the courts herald a word of lynchings, extra judicial action and the type of state sponsered terror squads as happen in other poorly educated populations.

To put this minority in perspective many many more people went to football this weekend over 62k at the boleyn, 60k at the Gooners etc

Well, that's been happening since the Brexit campaign...

...and still many fail to understand that the right wing got the Brits into that mess and the ship's still sinking.

Worse is that they think if they vote the same right wing snake oil salesman into power then everything will be fine again.
That's when they shoot themselves in the other foot..
That's when they don't learn from history and their own mistakes..

"What a mess we are in since Brexit!"

"I've got an idea. Why don't we pile our support behind the same right wing grifter that got us into this mess?"

    "Good idea!"

    I agree.

It's a poisoned chalice they've been handed, but things have gotta improve. It doesn't help one bit that the media is dead against Labour though.
