I was not aware until a recent news article that Jews and Christians are forbidden from praying on the Temple Mount, or from carrying prayer books or wearing religious apparel there.

This is the site of the 1st temple where the Ark of the Covenant was kept and of the 2nd temple and where Jesus preached and scattered the merchants when he entered Jerusalem at the start of Holy Week.

It has had this hideous mosque monstrosity built on it which the ragheads claim is justified because they claim that Mohamed ascended into heaven from that spot... how convenient when you are trying to tactically desecrate one of the most holy sites of two older religions.

Israel's far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has prayed at a disputed holy site in occupied East Jerusalem, violating a decades-old arrangement at one of the most sensitive places in the Middle East.

Photos and videos of his visit to the site known to Muslims as Haram al-Sharif (Noble Sanctuary) and to Jews as the Temple Mount show Ben-Gvir leading Jewish prayers there. The site is also known as the al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

Jews are allowed to visit but not pray there.

I think the Israelis should send in the armoured bulldozers and flatten the carbuncle and start work on the long overdue 3rd temple.

OK that is maybe overdoing it but the raggies should have to choose whether the Al Aqsa mosque stays or the Dome of the Rock stays. One of them goes and the Temple Mount should be shared between all 3 religions that hold it sacred.
