Donald Trump Wishes ‘Liberal Jews’ a Happy New Year by Accusing Them of Destroying America

DONALD TRUMP DECIDED to take time during Rosh Hashanah — the start of the Jewish High Holy days and the celebration of the New Year — to blame “liberal Jews” for voting to destroy America and Israel.

“Just a quick reminder for liberal Jews who voted to destroy America & Israel because you believed in false narratives!,” he wrote on Truth Social on Sunday, presumably referring to the American Jewish support for Joe Biden in the 2020 election. “Let’s hope you learned from your mistake & make better choices moving forward!”

The leading Republican presidential candidate then shared what appeared to be a flyer boasting of Trump’s record on Israel and pro-Jewish causes. “Wake Up Sheep. What Nazi / Anti Semite ever did this for the Jewish people or Israel?” the flyer reads. The flyer goes on to crow about moving the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem (“no other president had the balls to do it”) and endorsing “Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights” and “over settlements in Judea & Samaria” — also known as the West Bank. The flyer also mentions Trump’s signing the “Never Again” Education Bill into law, which funds Holocaust awareness — which was praised by organizations, such as the Anti-Defamation League. “Clearly, one of the Greatest Anti Semites of our time!” the flyer jokes.

Strangely, it neglects Trump’s notorious statement that neo-Nazi marchers in Charlottesville, Virginia were “very fine people.” Or his speech in front of prominent Republican Jews, telling them that they were manipulative money-grubbers. Or his dinner with Kanye West after the rapper tweeted that he was “going death con3 on JEWISH people.”

It’s unlikely to have much impact; American Jews have traditionally voted overwhelmingly for Democrats — and 2024 looks to be a continuation of the trend. According to a poll by the Jewish Electoral Institute, which found among 800 Jewish voters, Biden leads Trump by 72 percent.

Donald Trump’s campaign believes Ron DeSantis is flatlining. Now, they want to bury him.

The former president and his team are beefing up their efforts in Iowa, hoping to deliver the type of knock-out punch that would effectively end the Florida governor’s bid and send a message to the other campaigns to get out of the way.

Building on his seven visits to Iowa so far this year, Trump is embarking on a “Team Trump Caucus Commitment” organizing event in Iowa with campaign volunteers at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Maquoketa, and remarks at the Grand River Conference Center in Dubuque this Wednesday. Trump plans to make three more stops in Iowa during the first half of October, and again in the final days of the month, his team said. The Trump campaign is also bringing on Alex Meyer, who was recently part of the RNC’s political data team, as a senior adviser to focus on both Iowa and Missouri.

It’s a remarkable investment of time from a candidate who has, through the summer, left a light footprint on the trail. And it’s being supplemented with an air attack by Trump world as a pro-DeSantis PAC advertises aggressively in the state. MAGA Inc., the super PAC supporting Trump, is spending over $700,000 on advertising this week in Iowa, according to the ad tracking firm AdImpact. Trump’s Iowa team is focused on educating and training Trump supporters on the caucus process, and the Trump campaign has boasted of 27,500 signed caucus pledge cards and 1,500 local volunteers in the state.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

    The azzhole criminal said it......

On Aug. 15, 2017, President Donald Trump held a press conference to discuss an executive order he had signed on infrastructure permitting. Reporters shortly began asking questions about Trump’s initial response to violent protests in Charlottesville, Va. It was at this press conference that Trump said that "you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides."

On April 25, 2019, former Vice President Joe Biden declared his 2020 candidacy for the Democratic nomination and the presidency by recalling the events in Charlottesville and Trump’s comments. "With those words, the president of the United States assigned a moral equivalence between those spreading hate and those with the courage to stand against it," Biden said. https://www.politifact.com/article/2...sides-remarks/

It comes out exactly how he intended it, which was to claim that there were racists that are "very fine people".

Mind you, today he's pissed of the jooos. Stupid orange turd.

Donald Trump decided to mark the Jewish New Year by sharing an antisemitic message stating that “liberal Jews” voted to “destroy America and Israel” by supporting President Joe Biden.
The former president shared an image wishing Jewish Americans a happy new year on Rosh Hashanah on Truth Social on Sunday.

“Just a quick reminder for liberal Jews who voted to destroy America & Israel because you believed in false narratives!” the image said. “Let’s hope you learned from your mistake & make better choices moving forward! Happy New Year!”

In the video of the press conference he condems 'the white nationalists and neo nazis'.

He also defends the right of the demonstrators (which would be your racists and anti racists) on both sides to voice their opinion.

    "The very fine people".

It's awkward, but I can't say that I disagree with him.

You sound like the ReTrumplicans, who twist themselves into knots, trying to explain to the world what Trump means, when he spews his ridiculous bullshit.
By saying, “You had a very fine people, on both sides.“ he was pandering to his base, including the white nationalists, and neo-Nazis.

Former President Donald Trump will speak in Detroit to current and former members of the autoworkers union on Sept. 27, the day of the second Republican primary debate, according to three people familiar with the plan.

Trump has not officially weighed in on the strike, although he posted to Truth Social on Sunday night, “The United Autoworkers are being sold down the “drain” with this all Electric Car SCAM.” Along with Trump’s visit to Detroit, his team also plans to release a radio ad targeting union workers.

In a statement, UAW President Shawn Fain was not the least bit welcoming.

“Every fiber of our union is being poured into fighting the billionaire class and an economy that enriches people like Donald Trump at the expense of workers,” Fain said. “We can’t keep electing billionaires and millionaires that don’t have any understanding what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck and struggle to get by and expecting them to solve the problems of the working class.”

Trump was critical of Fain during an interview that was taped before UAW workers began their strike.

“I’m on the side of making our country great,” Trump told NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “The autoworkers are being sold down the river by their leadership, and their leadership should endorse Trump.”

A Trump campaign radio ad set to air in Detroit and Toledo, Ohio, attacked another leader, President Joe Biden.

“He’s turned his back on the autoworkers,” the ad says of Biden, “by cutting a deal that uses American tax dollars to help fund China’s electric car business. That’s a stake in the heart for American autoworkers, and they can count on President Trump to change that.”

A campaign spokesperson for Biden took issue with Trump’s view of events.

“Donald Trump is going to Michigan next week to lie to Michigan workers and pretend he didn’t spend much of his entire failed presidency selling them out at every turn,” Ammar Moussa said in a statement.

Moussa added: “No self-serving photo op can erase Trump’s four years of abandoning union workers and standing with his ultra-rich friends.”

A group of 121 elected prosecutors, former judges and law enforcement officials filed a brief in the Florida Supreme Court on Monday in support of State Attorney Monique Worrell, who was suspended by Gov. Ron DeSantis last month.

The duly-elected prosecutor of Orange and Osceola counties was ousted from her seat in August. In a news conference, DeSantis said he suspended her for “neglecting her duty to faithfully prosecute crime in her jurisdiction.”

DeSantis’ office began investigating Worrell earlier this year after Keith Moses, 19, was charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of news reporter Dylan Lyons, Nathacha Augustin and 9-year-old T’yonna Major. The girl’s mother and news photographer Jesse Walden were also shot. The governor’s office claimed Worrell neglected to hold Moses accountable for previous criminal offenses.

Worrell filed a petition in the Florida Supreme Court challenging her suspension earlier this month, claiming DeSantis did not demonstrate the neglect or incompetency she was accused of.

“The order does not allege a single instance in which Ms. Worrell’s exercise of prosecutorial discretion violated Florida law,” the petition stated. “To the extent the Governor disagrees with how Ms. Worrell is lawfully exercising her prosecutorial discretion, such a disagreement does not constitute a basis for suspension from elected office.”

A group of 121 criminal justice leaders filed an amicus brief in support of Worrell on Monday, arguing that DeSantis violated the state constitution and failed to identify the conduct that meets the legal grounds for suspension. They alleged the order was “based solely on vaguely defined policy disagreements” and the issue should be left up to the voters in 2024.

The group argues that if the Supreme Court allows Worrell’s suspension to stand and refuses to limit the governor’s power to remove elected officials, “the floodgates will open to allow removal far beyond what the (Florida) constitution ever contemplated. Any guardrails for the future will be off…. future elected leaders in Florida will serve at the whim of the governor – not the will of the people.”

State Attorney Worrell vows to seek reelection after suspension by DeSantis

This was not the first time DeSantis removed a state attorney. Last year, he suspended State Attorney Andrew Warren, who was elected twice by Hillsborough County voters, after he pledged not to pursue criminal charges against seekers or providers of abortion or gender transition treatments.

DeSantis also accused him of negligence due to Warren’s policy of not bringing charges against suspects for certain low-level crimes. A federal judge ruled that DeSantis violated the Florida Constitution by suspending Warren, but said the court lacked the power to reinstate him.

Warren called the day Worrell was suspended “a dark day for democracy in the Sunshine State.” Immediately following her suspension, Worrell vowed to seek reelection next year.

DeSantis: Humans are ‘safer than ever’ from effects of climate change

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Wednesday that humans are “safer than ever” from the effects of climate change, less than a month after a hurricane pounded Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas.

The use of the phrase “climate change” increased between 2018 and 2020, DeSantis said during a campaign speech rolling out his energy policy in Midland, Texas. Despite reports from the World Meteorological Organization showing that climate change impacts continued to worsen during that time, DeSantis attributed the term’s jump in use to “ideology.”

“This is driven by ideology. It’s not driven by reality,” DeSantis said. “In reality, human beings are safer than ever from climate disasters. The death rate for climate disasters has declined by 98 percent over the last hundred years, and the No. 1 reason for that is people that have had access to reliable electricity, have power.”

While the number of weather-related natural disasters caused by climate change has increased, related deaths have fallen over the last 50 years, according to the World Meteorological Organization. Experts attribute the decline to better forecasting and better infrastructure for dealing with extreme weather.

DeSantis’ remarks come less than a year after Hurricane Ian — the second-deadliest storm the continental U.S. has seen in decades, after Hurricane Katrina — devastated his home state, leaving more than 100 people dead and destroying homes and businesses.

The World Health Organization said climate change is “the biggest health threat facing humanity” and is expected to cause “approximately 250 000 additional deaths per year, from malnutrition, malaria, diarrhea and heat stress” between 2030 and 2050 from lack of “clean air, safe drinking water, sufficient food and secure shelter.”

Busted: DeSantis' camp was told Florida's crime-reduction stats were bogus — but touted them anyway

Scoop: Biden deploys Newsom to GOP debate

Joe Biden's re-election campaign is deploying California Gov. Gavin Newsom to the second Republican presidential debate next week in Simi Valley, Calif., Biden campaign advisers tell Axios.

Why it matters: It's the latest example of Biden's increasingly warm relationship with Newsom after earlier tensions between the two — and comes as the California governor continues to build his national profile.

Driving the news: GOP frontrunner Donald Trump isn't likely to attend the GOP debate Wednesday, but Biden's team also is deploying top officials — including campaign manager Julie Chávez Rodríguez — to contrast the president's agenda with what they call "MAGA Republicans' extreme and out of touch views."

    • The debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library will be hosted by Fox Business and Univision, so the Democratic National Committee is focusing its messaging on economics and Latino voters.
    • Chávez Rodríguez and DNC chair Jaime Harrison will host Latino organizing events including one focused on Latino men, Biden campaign advisers told Axios.
    • The DNC also is hiring a plane to fly over Southern California reading "2024 GOP: A Race for the Extreme MAGA Base," according to a Biden adviser.
    • Biden re-elect spokesperson Kevin Munoz told Axios: "The campaign response builds off the strong and effective plan from the first debate with a clear north star: Push back on Republicans' lies and highlight their extremism at every turn."

Between the lines: Newsom has become an enthusiastic booster of Biden's re-election bid, even as the governor has been building a national network of supporters and donors.

The big picture: The debate is the latest instance of the Biden campaign trying to push a contrast between what it's calling "Bidenomics" and "MAGAnomics."

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Wednesday said the U.S. government will not pay for COVID boosters if he gets elected president in 2024.

“Certainly we’re not going to fund them,” DeSantis told “ABC News Live Prime.”

His comments came after Florida advised residents under age 65 to skip the updated COVID-19 vaccine this fall, even though coronavirus hospitalizations and deaths related to the virus are rising across the U.S.

DeSantis took issue with the studies done on the mRNA boosters, claiming “they have not demonstrated the benefit” of the shots.

Twice in the past two weeks, Donald Trump has suggested violent consequences for those who dare to cross him.

Mark Milley, the outgoing chairman of the joint chiefs of staff? He deserves to be executed, Trump charged.

And Letitia James, the New York attorney general who filed a damaging civil fraud case against Trump? He didn’t stop at calling her “corrupt and racist”.

“I don’t think the people of this country are going to stand for it … This is a disgrace. And you ought to go after this attorney general,” he said publicly on his way into the courtroom this week.

    • Exclusive: End Citizens United endorses Biden in 2024

The grassroots organizations End Citizens United (ECU) and Let America Vote (LAV) endorsed President Biden’s reelection campaign on Thursday, the combined group first told The Hill.

End Citizens United, which advocates for curtailing the power of outside money in politics, and Let America Vote, which is focused on fighting voter suppression, said their endorsement for Biden and Vice President Harris is due to their dedication to voting rights legislation.

Legislation like the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act aim to end the dominance of big money in politics and partisan gerrymandering and strengthen ethics rules, but have been stagnant in the GOP-controlled House after bipartisan negotiations fell apart last Congress.

“Our democracy is facing a clear and present danger––one that demands our collective attention and commitment to action,” ECU and LAV president Tiffany Muller told The Hill in a statement. “The rise of Republican election denialism, dark money groups, and corruption threaten the very foundation of our nation. President Biden and Vice President Harris share these concerns and have consistently championed reforms to address these critical issues.”

Ron DeSantis has less money and more problems.

The Florida governor's presidential campaign entered this month with just $5 million in cash available for the primary, a sum that reignites doubts about his solvency, budgeting and ability to gain ground on front-running former President Donald Trump.

The pain is so acute that DeSantis is redeploying aides from his Tallahassee headquarters to Des Moines for the stretch run of a do-or-die Jan. 15 Iowa caucus. A better-funded operation might hire locally rather than shift resources. Past presidential campaigns have typically made such a move only as a last-ditch cost-saving measure — and to look for a campaign-changing boost in an early state.

"The cash crunch has accelerated in the past month. It’s a huge problem," said one DeSantis donor. "If it continues to trend downwards and Trump continues to poll ahead, at some point they’re going to have to figure out if it makes sense to pull out and save face for 2028."

You can tell Sleepy Joe is worried about the polls:

    - He's building the wall (and Mexico isn't paying for it)
    - He's deporting thousands of Venezualan migrants.

Well he's got to find them from somewhere.

    • Independents: Biden is trailing independent voters, according to most polls. Trump leads Biden 50%-42% among independent voters in the recent Marist University Poll, and 38%-37% in the HarrisX poll. Biden carried independent voters by a 52%-43% margin against Trump in 2020, far outpacing Trump especially among independent voters in college-educated suburbs.
Assuming baldy orange cunto can't run, they only have to put someone up against him with a pulse and he's toast in the debates.
