What Coca Cola started is irrelevant, as is your view of whom Santa should look like in Australia. You stated that Australia is a European country. It is a predominantly white country, yes, but European? For 50,000 years it was Aboriginal, vs gradually more and more white over a mere 200 years. Ok, lets not get into semantics, the point is you are making a distinction of a person based on their skin colour. Kids are effectively colour blind when it comes to race until they are taught that there is a distinction. My dad was a black man who married my blond, blue-eyed white Australian mum in Sydney in the 1950's. Do you have an idea of what that would have been like for them at a time when the civil rights movement in the US was quite violent? Not sure what you mean by wog as it is not a term I have ever used. Are you referring to europeans Indians Asians Africans? Jesus whom I would assume was North African is relevant to this because?

I'd imagine no affect at all as they were in Sydney about 12,000 k/m away. I do remember my father telling me that an American black GI he met in WW2 told him that a white war brides married to a Black man on return to the USA would be considered white trash by many in the black community. He pointed out that many Blacks are just as prejudiced as white people.
