Nice to see some facts rather than the ‘Oh...umm...I can’t remember where I read that’ routine, btw.

Good god you're so niave Cyrille or you have a different agenda.
The British have have been shafted by the EU for decades, a fact!

The end of the EU is nigh and the British are the only people with the balls to sort the mess out.

Where's your Dunkirk spirit and vision?

That's right. Just like you, with your random Guardian opinion pieces. Are they halal opinions, or do you use vpn to post that rubbish?

You haven't provided one credible source,Chitty. Instead it's the Brexiteer standard, getting all misty eyed for a fiction notion of England's past.

You really are the most tedious twat on TD. Now are you going to read the link, understand it and debate the points ? Of course you aren't hence why you scream for links about a subject you clearly dont understand is a mystery.

you personally you might, but that's irrelevant. No UK politicians or business leaders want a hard Brexit, and since they are the ones that make the decision, it's going to be REVOKE at the end

Boris I suspect will go for REVOKE when it's complete cahos in the UK and everyone is ready to revolt and burn Westminster, but we are not there yet

at this stage REVOKE, sadly, is the only option

I bet Boris is thinking about it at this very moment since there is no way the UK is prepared for a hard Brexit

going no deal is like voting for your own embargo at the UN, who would be crazy enough to do that

if Boris was really serious about hard Brexit, he wouldn't try to open discussion with the EU or renegotiate a deal he knows the EU doesn't want to discuss further. No, instead he would prepare for Oct 31 hard brexit (if that's even possible) and take the little time he has left to prepare the country for impact.

my guess he is secretly preparing the political situation where REVOKE will be the only option left, with the full support of the public

You’re assuming, I think, that he actually gives a shit about what’s best for the country.

I honestly don’t think he does.

    ^^ ^^^ ^^^^ ... how does the 'Revoke' work?

    Who implements it etc?

    Is an election required?

    No election.

It just needs to satisfy the constitutional requirements of the member state.

BoJo would just need to submit a letter to the Council of Leaders.

    Easy Peasy.

A50 is not going to be revoked under Boris, the best remainers can hope for is to force the government to ask for yet another extension which there is probably a large majority in parliament in favour of. But they haven't got a lot of time to do it with Parliament currently being on holiday and then we have conference season where it closes again. Finally a clean Brexit is looking a possibility with the EU saying they wont renegotiate a treaty that the UK is saying is dead but bitter remainers are still going to try everything they can to stop it. Also the EU is under no obligation to agree to an extension.

the EU will agree to the extension, sadly, they already pointed out that they will extend at the UK PM request

anyway, hard Brexit is not feasible, and BoJo, despite being a clown, will not want to take the blame

he could always pull a chav defense, like Buriram does, that is it's all the EU fault for allowing hard Brexit, but it might be too obvious, even for the typical Brits double face lying mentality

it will be full benefit even for him to go straight into preparing for hard Brexit, and stop discussing with the EU

first, it will show that he cares for GB by preparing the country for the full impact of a crash landing

and second, showing the EU that he is not fooking around

    win-win for everyone !!!
