once again, the EU has show how soft they have been with the British all along that process

Juncker didn't have the balls to say to Maybot what she deserved: "Fuck Off and Die Witch"

now back in your court, time to remove the silly old witch

I did read the entire article and many others with slightly different opinions. Anyway not worth wasting anymore time over this non issue as is a forgone conclusion Doris deal gets voted down 12 April becomes new leaving date which we all know won't happen anyway as MPs will never allow us to leave with no deal. My previous post sets out what I think will happen.

Moment Of Truth Looms For Second Referendum: The Plan All Along Or A Head Fake?

EU27 unanimously agrees on its response to UK’s requests. I will now meet PM @theresa_may. #brexit #euco

    — Donald Tusk (@eucopresident) March 21, 2019

EU27 responds to UK requests in a positive spirit and:
agrees to Art. 50 extension until 22 May if Withdrawal Agreement approved next week
if not agreed next week then extension until 12 April
     approves ‘Strasbourg Agreement’
     continues no-deal preparations

    — Donald Tusk (@eucopresident) March 21, 2019

Tusk and Jean Claude-Juncker made a joint statement after the announcement:

In the coming days, possibly on Monday, Mrs May is expected to table secondary legislation - that has to go through the Commons and Lords by next Friday - to remove the date of 29 March from Brexit legislation.

    That's on the BBC site.

yeah, she is looking for a rubber stamp, as expected

now she has until April 12 for a new vote, will she be dumb enough to play the clock again?

thank god this is the week-end, the time when conspirators plan their next move to sabotage her deal or stab her in the back

With only eight days to go until the scheduled Brexit day, what worried EU leaders most was Mrs May's inability - or refusal - to answer their insistent question: what will you do if the Brexit deal fails to get through Parliament next week?

It was then that EU leaders decided they had to take control of the situation if they hoped to head off a no-deal Brexit.

By the time the 27 leaders emerged at their Brussels summit, bleary-eyed from hours of bad-tempered debate about delaying Brexit, it became clear that they had "done a May".

By that, I mean they had managed to kick the Brexit crunch-time can another couple of weeks down the road - something Theresa May has become famous for throughout the Brexit process.

I haven't been following recent events; understand that 29 March no longer applies, been extended under same same conditions with legal default to 12 April, yes?

And from here it looks like May quits before the next GE, and after a plausibly decent interval will be seen taking up her rightful place at the EU trough of heroes and failed and purchased leaders.

    Ain't that so, squirrel?

I don't think the chavs have ever been so engaged with politics.

...apart from the bnp, nf, ukip and <to be decided>

That will be because their vote has never counted before, this time every vote counted so they bothered to vote, good job they did aswell. All those people coming out the council estates to vote won Brexit.

Yes, if you 'don't bother to vote' then your non existent vote doesn't get counted.

The higher one gets in politics the more they are concerned over their legacy; it's an ego thing at the basest level, often balanced by worldly benefits such as money, celebrity and alternative power.

In May's case, a fail at every stage of each effort, and having admitted she would view the briefest extension as a personal defeat shortly before begging for an extension, she must go down by every standard as the most incompetent and duplicitous Brit PM in living memory; and that in a field of prime quality!

The end of May is coming, and it won't be the 31st.

Although the UK voting system was explained repeatedly to you earlier in the thread seems you still don't understand it.

Think you are getting confused with me repeatedly having to explain to you the difference between a referendum and a GE ...do you not remember you were boohooing about how many votes UKIP received and I kept having to explain only seats are counted in a GE not votes?

And this is why people don't vote you idiot as there vote doesn't count as shown by UKIP getting 4 million votes and only 1 MP where as the SNP got about 1.5 mill votes and 50 odd MPs where as in a referendum every vote counts. That you still don't understand how the rigged UK system works is obviously no surprise but a quick Google will help you.

Correct, if people don't vote then their non existent vote isn't counted.

But, it still sounds like your struggling to understand the difference between a Referendum and a GE.

In a Ref, its votes that count, if GE then its seats that count.

The SNP represent an entire country, and win a lot of seats while ukip have only ever won 1 seat in their history, even their leader Farage embarrassingly failed to win his own seat ...not exactly rocket science.

    Rigged system? ...

Christ you're thick. There are over 300 seats where Jimmy Saville or Rolf Harris would win if were wearing a red or blue rosette hence a lot of people don't vote in these seats as it's pointless, do you understand that? Where as in a referendum for the first time their vote counted so they bothered to vote. This has been explained to you repeatedly, can you point out what it is specifically that you are still struggling with?

Bitter chav racists looking for someone to blame for their personal shortcomings ...find it very difficult to gain power, therefore the electoral system is functioning perfectly.

You only have to look at the Brexit mess to see what happens when you give bitter chav racists looking for someone to blame for their personal shortcomings...a say.
