It was four, namely Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq.

Hamas refused to accept Israel's right to exist after they fell out with the Fatah (I think) over the terms of the acceptance.

Israel couldn't do anything about it.

If you do indeed have a reference (as you recently claimed you'd provide in future) to prove that Hamas does recognize Israel's right of existence, please don't hesitate to provide such.
