They didn't want the USA to know, lest they said "Don't be stupid!" so they instead decided the best approach was to sink the USS Liberty, killing all who sailed on it, taking the intelligence records to the see bed and then say sorry afterwards.

Bombed it with napalm. Radio recordings clearly show that the pilots and those giving the orders knew it was an American ship. Then they strafed the life rafts.

LBJ is on record as having told the defense planes from near by US fleet to stand down so as to not embarrass israel.

Aside from covering up war crimes, and committing an act of war, there is a hgih chance that they were going to pretend it was Egypt attacking the ship and drag america into the war. They were caught, but no American politician still today dare talk about it.

As usual the true account of the USS Liberty differs from yours , but then you will say that Wiki is owned by Jews so there for it has to be a fabrication , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Liberty_incident And of course as is your want you will cherry pick through the article to try and make it appear that Israel was at fault but at the end of the day The US government cleared Israel of deliberately bombing a US ship , and the Israeli's paid millions in compensation , and your last 100 posts or so show a pathological hatred for the state of Israel and Jews, so anything Anti Israeli /Jewish you write must be seen as just your version seen through the eyes of hatred and bare naked bias .
