Australia doesn't have a Gun Culture, despite the similarities between Australia and the USA.
I would profess that some firearms are necessary by 'genuine' farmers, and that is accepted in Australia.
If guns are the answer, it was a very silly question.
I was born and raised in northern Canada. A hunting culture but would not call it a gun culture. Was always hunting for something. Most of our meat was wild game and fish.
Had a double barrel 12 guage shotgun, a single shot bolt action .306, bolt action .22 and an old Colt .38 special handgun in the family. No mass shootings in my neigborhood.
