Putin wants to retire. He was NOT president of Russia from 2008 to 2012. Dmitri medvedev was. And he governed very differently. He went along with the US on Iran sanctions and also did not vote against the Libya war at the UN
What did the US do for those favors ? They tried a color revolution inside Russia which became the 2012 Russia protests. Hillary personally bragged about how well those protests went and did not deny their involvement
