Oh I see. So when America comes a knockin' with it's standard message of "The West is the best. Give in, and let us do the rest", a thinking person in another country, living under a different political system, with a different history and cultural heritage, and quite probably at a different stage of development, must never actually Think, and Compare, right? Now that would be Heresy.
such things as-
1/ How have living standards for the average citizen improved under my current political system compared to the average American, in the current century?
2/ How has that 'Freedom n Democracy' been working out for the people of Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya?
3/ How many people has my country killed, compared to the USA? How many of our young men have died invading foreign countries, compared to the US?
4/ How many people in my country are incarcerated, compared to the USA?
5/ How politically stable is my country, compared to the US these days? how socially stable?
6/ a russki might even have the temerity to think, how is life under Putin, compared to Americas old sweetheart Yeltsin?
No, can't be Thinking like that, can we? That would be Heresy. Drink the Koolaid. Just give in, and let us do the rest.
Like i have repeatedly said- Good housekeeping starts at Home. The US is hardly in a position to point the bone. neither are you. suggest you change your drink.
