Vlad doesn't take criticism well does he. I'm sure he'd love to slip the feller a cup of his famous Polonium tea but that would make him a martyr.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...esters-siberiaPolice have detained Russia’s opposition leader Alexei Navalny at a demonstration against Vladimir Putin in central Moscow.
Thousands of demonstrators denouncing the Russian president’s imminent inauguration for a fourth term on 7 May gathered on Saturday in the capital’s Pushkin Square.
Video showed police carrying a struggling Navalny, who is Putin’s most prominent opponent, out of the square by the arms and legs.
The unauthorised protest was part of nationwide demonstrations called by Navalny under the slogan “He is not our tsar”.
Police also made arrests at demonstrations in other cities, but no overall figure was immediately available.About 150 people were detained in Krasnoyarsk, in eastern Siberia and 75 in Yakutsk, the capital of a diamond-mining region in north-east Russia.
I suppose you missed the "unauthorised" bit.
One wonders what reaction western countries leaders would adopt if "thousands" of protesters marched, "unauthorised" through the streets of London, Paris, Dublin or Washington. Are amerstanis allowed to conceal carry weapons in "unauthorised street marches"?
Somewhere they have got an "authorised" one, however, the govt is not happy either...
Thousands protest against Macron under heavy security in Paris
Police out in force for demonstration over reforms after May Day disturbances
Police were out in force in central Paris on Saturday as thousands of people protested against Emmanuel Macron’s sweeping reforms a year after he assumed the presidency.
About 2,000 members of the security forces, including riot police, were deployed as marchers gathered in warm spring sunshine in Opera square for a protest labelled a “party for Macron”, a tongue-in-cheek “celebration” of the 40-year-old centrist’s first anniversary in power.
The event began with a mass picnic, and smaller rallies took place in the southern cities of Toulouse and Bordeaux

Maybe you could enlighten us to how many political opposition leaders have been arrested at protest marches in western Democracies? Or how many that have been "mysteriously" murdered a stones throw from the white house houses of parliament etc with no one caught or held accountable. While you're about it please let me know how many anti May and anti Trump journalists have been murdered.
As much as I respect you are entitled to offer an alternative point of view (IMHO a must in any forum of ideas) and you do make valid points on occasion, your slavish obsequiousness of all things Putin and your almost obsessive anti Americanism, makes it difficult for some to take you seriously on any issue.
Whilst America has many things to answer for, so do the British Russians, Chinese, Iranians, Israelis, Turks and many others. Recognising faults in one country should not blind you to the faults of the countries you so obviously seem to want to defend and promote. The irony is these same countries that you criticise are the only ones that would allow you the freedom to criticise them. Try criticising Putin in Russia or Xi in China, or if you really are a thrill seeker try Kim in Nth Korea. The very fact that TD's intellectual giant kloneddick supports you should at least give you pause for thought.
Ever heard/read about Catalonia?
Many, many, some of them in the park nearby, some not so nearby, some never much publisized, some just suicides (the lists are well known - but surely some conspiratorial), some in the middle of an army of bodyguards, any posible scenarios...Or how many that have been "mysteriously" murdered a stones throw from the white house houses of parliament etc with no one caught or held accountable
I am sure THE LORD would authorise a peaceful march conducted with due respect to the citizens living in the area, conformance to guidelines etc. THE LORD may of course restrict such "peaceful marches" to Siberia, 1st November to 31st February, but political change is "worth it" as some have said. They of course may need to wait until highways and electric car charging stations are provided, by THE LORD's democratically government and the content Russian citizens, to get there.
Unfortunately the "organisers" have previous on not following the countries laws on such matters, hence the now use of the marches organisers of the "spontaneous" sort.
Your just illuminating your desire for anarchy, once again. Different thread, same anarchic suggestions.
There are plenty here who post verbatim amerisrtani propaganda, look to those to justify what they post. Copy and paste artists without the confidence to utter one word of their own. Pathetic. And then there's 'arry with his anarchy (without government of any sort) option, always being pushed.
I am content with posting factual reports from the other countries here and in other threads, which few here rebut conclusively. As you have tried and failed here.
A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.
harry, under Nazi Germany, you would have been quite the cheerboy for the regime actions![]()
Ha! Harry couldn't be a "cheerboy" on his best day in life. Anyway, perhaps you should do some real, in-depth research, regarding the true facts of Nazi Germany.
Here's a clue. If today's Putin (instead of Stalin) had been the Soviet Premier, in 1940, then we'd all be living in a very different 21st. Century world; guaranteed.![]()

THE LORD remembers his roots and as an aside pushes Israel to the second row.

An old soldier is manhandled away by "security". he stops and apologises for the "security" teams behaviour. The old soldier is invited to join the front row. Israeli leader goes to the second row, possibly expecting to be attacked. The LORD continues along the route with the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the old soldier chatting and smiling.
The Israeli leader with a glum expression, realising the cameras are rolling, quickly accelerates to the end of the front roe but is ignored by all.
THE LORD, dangerous or an accommodating decision maker, you decide.
