From a science blog I’ll read (he supports a Sanders win),….

So, what does the future look like? There are several states coming up where Sanders is likely to do well. But is it enough to make it likely for him to overtake Clinton? With a 20% spread and half the votes counted, Sanders would have to take an average of 60% of the delegates from here on. That is very unlikely.

The total number of delegates required to lock the nomination is 2,383. There are 717 uncommitted delegates (aka “Super Delegates”). If we assume that all of those uncommitted delegates will simply vote for the majority candidate, then the number of delegates required to have a likely lock on the nomination is 1669. This is not a fully supportable assumption because some of the uncommitted delegates may chose a different path, but it is a reasonable approximation.

The part of the table above marked in yellow indicates the approximate point in time when the leading candidate, Clinton, will get somewhere around 1669 delegates. So, if this model is reasonably accurate, Clinton will achieve a lock about mid May.

    ___________

Delegate count as of March 22nd finish,….

I just heard of this story for the first time.

Hillary claimed Chelsea erased her server.

    But....

    Postpartum Deletion

Chelsea Clinton did not claim she scrubbed controversial e-mail messages from her mother's private server due to postpartum depression.

FACT CHECK: Did Chelsea Clinton say that she erased her mother Hillary Clinton's e-mails due to postpartum depression?

Claim: Chelsea Clinton said that she erased her mother Hillary Clinton's emails due to postpartum depression.

    FALSE

Example: [Collected via e-mail, August 2015]

Chelsea Clinton erased her mom's emails due to post partum depression. Is this true?

Origins: On 19 August 2015, the web site The Daily Rash published the transcript of a purported interview with MSNBC host Chris Matthews, Democratic presidential candidate (and former secretary of state) Hillary Clinton, and Hillary's daughter Chelsea Clinton, in the course of which Chelsea supposedly took responsibility for the controversy over the "scrubbing" of some potentially sensitive government-related e-mail messages from her mother's private server:

HILLARY: Yes, we are, Chris. We have decided to be candid and inform the American people that Chelsea is the one who scrubbed my computer drives clean.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: And you also claim she removed all the classified markings from sensitive emails?

HILLARY: Yes, that is true. (looks at Chelsea) Isn’t that true, honey?

CHELSEA: (swallowing hard) Yes, I did it. I’m the one who erased the servers and I also removed all classified markings.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: So it makes sense now, Madam Secretary, that you could not have known you had all those classified emails.

    HILLARY: That’s correct, Chris.

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Unfortunately there’s a heart wrenching part to this confession, isn’t there?

HILLARY: Yes there is, Chris. Chelsea was suffering from postpartum depression at the time.

    CHRIS MATTHEWS: Oh no.

HILLARY: As you are aware, Chris, postpartum depression is an awful affliction for millions of women following a pregnancy. The costs to the poor mother are devastating. Those of us who’ve never experienced it cannot imagine the anguish.

He noted the "holy quran" in his Egyptian speech after getting into office.

He's just another charlatan shill promoting globalism and Keynesian policies.

There are some negative to democracy (obviously).

Most people (meaning more than 50%) are ignorant and shouldn't really vote. Not to sound condescending but data has suggested this since the 1930s.

    Some examples here:

Nothing better than giving Longway a case of the ass over Hillary.

Words of warning from the conservative Washington Examiner:

A new survey of women voters suggests a general election contest between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton could be disastrous for the Republican Party.

    Compare the numbers:

In a hypothetical [Trump-Hillary] matchup, just 31 percent of women said they would chose Trump, while 58 percent said they would chose Clinton. That’s a net advantage of 27 points for Clinton. In 2012, Barack Obama bested Mitt Romney by far less — 55 percent to 44 percent — among female voters.

The female vote / woman vote will be critical.

Romney lost the woman vote by a record margin in 2012. I expect Trump to lose it by a wider margin (if he's the nominee).
