Thread: Stroke of Genious.

It has to be a stroke of Genious to have a US Domestic Issues Branch.

I mean really those guys, and you know who you are, would not be happy if they were not bitching about some US issue or another. They're only happy when they're misserable.

The best one I've read so far is the thread about the US would be better if it closed its doors and went back to isolationism... which begs the question... If you want your country to move it all back home then surely it follows......?

"Moaning yanks are a pain in the ass, get all my fellow yanks back home so I don't have to bump into them here in Thailand".

i think TD should go back to having one issues forum....but then i'm no 'genious'.

The US most certainly does not have a Domestic Issues Branch. We only have the judiciary, the exectutive, and the legislative branches. Certain departments, like that of the interior, cover domestic issues. My god man, have you gone mad?

But now miserable and drinking, while at the same time whinging, sounds like the vast majority of the poms I hear at the bars.

This notion is shared by a number of members, US Domestic was created as a response - it's easy to avoid this section, yet it provides a platform for those interested - it is quite a popular subforum.

Wouldn't it be great if all these posters that either live or visit Thailand,could actually rustle up a few posts about living/visiting here......I mean,it is a Thai forum.

Yeah, and the games room sucks up an aweful lot of bandwidth...

If you were mod of an area called "Thai Issues" it would be the biggest part of the forum stroll.

Anything Thai or S.E. Asia related is more than welcome, but if folks prefer to discuss someone being assaulted in a hotel elevator in San Fransisco, then that's fine too, in the US section.

If Boonie and surasak were banned from issues,i'm sure they would both go into withdrawl.

Maybe US Domestic should be a protected forum, minimum postcount and US passport required to post in there, so all the US bashers like Lil' Chuk will be kept out.

Yep,I realise that.It doesn't so much piss me off,but I bet these guys could come up with some really great posts about Thais or living in Thailand etc.They seem to concentrate on USA issues though....
