Another Newbie!

Hi,
I've just moved to Bangkok to teach here for at least the next year. I was wondering where's good to meet other expats? Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome behind the Door, Dawn. A bit more information is always useful. Like how old are you, where do you come from, why are you in Thailand, are you one of those TEFL'er people, or a real teacher? What are your interests? The more posters know about you, the better they can guide you. Many of the posters on TD have lived here for many, many years and know all of the ins and outs. Do you have a lot of overseas experience? Or is Thailand your first time out of the box?

Where in Bangkok you based. This may help with recommendations with places to go to meet like-minded people.
