    Talking Jumpright in

I have just found this site, andd as you can see, joined.

I am very interested in learning some Thai, so that when I visit again, I can comunicate a bit better.

A bit about me, (and I understand if you read no further) I live in NYC in the USA, I work in prepress, for a advertising agency. I am seperated, and have 2 kids.

My interests are as scattered as the seeds in the wind, I know a little about a lot, but not much of real value. I can be lead into many different directions.

I have just spent 3 weeks (my first trip to Thailand) it was totally enjoyable. I plan on a return trip in the near future.

Well, time to sign off, and get some work done.

My first trip was interesting, I have a friend and his wife, that are here for several months, and has been here 15 times before, knows a bit about things. First we just hung around, did some sight seeing. We then flew to Chang Rai. and then drove to Lao, for a visit. I had my first grasshoppers in Lao. We flew back to BKK, and did the palace, and a few temples. Then to Pattaya, and the beach, for a few days. I enjoyed the music, at night. Back to BBk, we were going to go to Phutic? island, but sort of ran out of time...... I love spicey food, pool and the stuff. Had a great time, and want to visit again. many more places to go and see.

Phuket, I knew I would figure it out. A friend tells me that Phuket has become very high end, and expensive, In the past few years.

Not sure what you mean by "high end" (some places here are very, very "low" ), but certainly it's very expensive, probably the most expensive place to live in Thailand. (It's all those damned tourists, you see. )
