    Hi js2946, welcome on the board. Cannot recommend any bar though, im near Chiang Mai.

    But you'll not have to wait long for a reliable answer. Have a nice time there.

    Not been there for a couple of years but used to enjoy the U2 bar on soi Bangla, sure someone will say it's rubbish though.

    Bars with unfriendly staffs aren't in business anymore, unless the beer is free and the hoz pay you the barfine. Speaking of hoz, have you seen one yet? They usually wear high heels and take short steps. And remember look at their feet before you get to the second sentence of conversation.
