    Gidday!

Hi there, thought I better introduce myself, though I must confess I am only a wannabe expat at present and don’t get online that often.
I live in New Zealand with my Thai wife of six years. I’d been to Thailand a couple times as a soldier on leave when I met the missus. Bringing her home after my third trip was the smartest move I ever made, though in hindsight I got real lucky cos nearly every Thai woman we’ve met over here since has turned out to be a twisted fuckin gold digger.
Anyway, we (that is to say she), bought seven acres this year, near her family’s farm.
A rubber plantation by the Mekong, just south of Narkon Panohm. And it’s my intention to retire there one day; Though that day is still more years away than I care to count : (
Great site you have here anyway. I’ve already had a few chuckles out of your antics in this neck of the woods and gleaned a better idea of the reality for falangs living in Thailand. “Forewarned is forearmed”
    Cheers, Teak door!

Welcome SungTong. I wouldn't boast about your wife's age if I were you, some of the members here are a bit old fashioned.

Well I wasn’t going to JG because I figure everyone’s heard enough stories about how mum needs money for a life saving operation to the tune of 40 000 b ect, ect…
However. Someone might be interested to hear about how the bar girls fair down under, because it really is a veritable gold mine for them. So I may just give a few examples of the view from my Koru chair in NZ.

Figurin out the gallery. Had to laugh when i clicked on the "most viewed" tab.
    I shouldn’t be surprised should I? …So I’ve uploaded a few high res wallpapers
for the perverts. Don’t know how good they’ll come out after resizing or whatever.

Kiwi men are going to come off lookin dumb here but before the ribbing begins allow me to set the scene here. We all agree that New Zealand is a beautiful country, but nobody’s coming here to check out the birds. I don’t want to ruffle any kiwi feathers here but you have to admit that compared with the raw sexuality of a Thai woman or a European for that matter…Hell! Even an Aussie! NZ woman don’t exactly rock your world to its foundations.(BTW you Brits have nothing to smile about.) Eveningwear round here consists of an old rugby jersey and ill fitting tracksuit pants.
In small-town NZ a lot of kiwi blokes don’t get the chance to get out much. They’re lucky if they’ve been as far abroad as Sydney and some get no further than Tauronga. Often marrying the girl they sat next to on the school bus. After all, if she’s good enough to kick the mud from her boots before she comes inside she’s a keeper!
And there’s nothing wrong with that…Until some geezer with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana skin decides to jump for a Thai bride.

So here she is in NZ. And she’s bored shitless.Turns out that Hubby isn’t as well off as she had hoped. So whilst he’s watching the footy nursing a cold beer with the biggest, silliest smile he’s ever worn on his mask. She’s going to check out the shops.
Now, to a lot of kiwis Thailand is a small Island somewhere in the South China Sea,and the only hookers are on the rugby paddock. So when Miss Udon Thani 1998 goes for a walk down main street in a sawn-off Tartan skirt and heels, she gets more than her far share of looks. Total disdain from the women, and total worship from the men.
With a flutter of her eyelashes she doesn’t have to worry about buying lunch because these lads would sell there granny to get in the sack with this piece of arse. Even the taxi driver refuses payment with a wave and a smile cos he wants in on this.
So she gets to thinking this isn’t such a bad wicket after all. A plan starts to form.
She’s on the phone to a couple of her “sisters” from Nana plaza and before long she’s got husbands lined up for them, furiously filling out paperwork.
