Hi Fondles, thanks for the enquiry.

I can do a turnkey basic buggy in the colour of your choice for you to customize yourself, it will be driveable with green book and fully registered for as little as 250,000 Baht in basic spec, it will have headlights, indicators, windscreen and hardtop but would be keeping everything the donor car came with like wheels, steering wheel, seats, exhaust, back lights, etc.

For 350,000 up (all depending on what style you choose, off road monster or subtle street buggy) you would get a show standard buggy needing nothing, unless of course you wanted to add more to it yourself. The sky really is the limit with these cars.

You could also build it yourself, its possible to get a decent donor car for between 70-100,000 baht, which sounds expensive but you can make most (if not all) of this back selling the parts you don't use as there is a huge market in VW spares here in Thailand.

You can then either bring me the whole car, which I will strip, blast, shorten and spray for around 30,000 (depends how solid your chassis is and if it needs any extra work) or you can just bring me the rolling chassis and I can blast, shorten and paint it starting from 15,000 (again condition applies). I will even fit your new body to the pan for you so all you will need to do is source whatever parts you want to use, wire it and away you go. My full kits start at 50,000 so if your smart about it you could build a show car worth half a million for only a couple of hundred thousand max.

As for engines, yes the scooby engine will go in a treat and even in non turbo form will be enough power to pull a wheelie (providing you do a bit of work to the gearbox), I know someone from Pattaya who was running a long wheel base buggy with the Imprezza turbo lump and that thing flew. I don't do conversions as I am a VW man but I can point you in the right direction, I believe my friend paid around 90,000 for the engine and conversion but I am not 100% sure.

There really are so many options to choose from that it would be best if you could get to Pattaya anytime after next week, you can then have a test drive of my demo model and we can go from there. If you have any more questions please ask away.

    Regards.

    Stuart.

Thanks. Did that. No response. Perhaps they have gone out of business. My bad luck.
