and a honda dream for the market
Although in my day, the Triumph model designation T110, indicated that it was a 650cc model, so it just goes to show how out of date, I am with things!
There is a guy advertising a 74 Bonny here, looking for big money tho at 340K

No doubt he'll have the usual queue of cheap ass farangs offering 180,000 or whatever.
^ looks tidy enough, i,m not really into trumpy,s even though i bought the speed master on a whim, that works out at about what 4k roughly ozzie, reasonable if it is in as good nick as it appears, still they ride like tractors compared to what you blokes play on
PP. Thanks for that, interesting, but even though I do realize how much duty the customs would have extracted for the privilege of importing it, I personally would not contemplate it at that price. But like anything else, it's "Horses for Courses", am sure that there are people that would be only too happy to pay that kind of money for it.
Unreliable 1972 silver Vespa sprint
and I now own a monk orange LA Bicycle for pottering around market with
Here in Pattaya they sell Platinum motorbikes for almost half the price of other brands. But I am not sure if it is a good deal. The Platinum bikes I saw were new but a lot of rust everywhere. Hard to believe that this is a good deal. Any experience out there? By the way - my girlfriend has a Honda with 16 years and still working...both...
Platinum bikes are shit, but if your skint, they're the bollocks.
Dont touch them with a 10 foot poleOriginally Posted by John

the 1970 is just about the last year they made the real triumphs before the staff brought them out and they went under.

Just redid the chrome and it runs great. Stainless steel fenders. Purple tank color.
If your looking for a triumh go see Sujin ( Wat Wattana Yonta ltd 931/6-7 Rama 1 rd) in the small coffee shop acroos form MBK in Bangkok. He and his father were the original dealers . He might have one for sale or at least know.
There are a bunch of thai guys that meet at Suam luang park on sunday i think ( at least they used to) some great guys.
As you all know Dalton is a Dumb Fok Dane who doesn't know how to post pictures so he sent me this Photo of his new bike and asked me to post it for him. So Here it is,

yes he is, the front of the shop is now a noodle stand and upstairs is a back packers guesthouse but he still has a few bikes in the back and tons of spares and everyone that rides a triumph knows him in Bangkok
Last on-road bike was a CB750. It had a slight warp in the frame but was okay if you could get through the speed wobble that came up at about 120k. Still got an XS650 (bored to 750) that's been rusting away in my shed for around 15 to 20 years. Haven't ridden a bike for at least 10 years. Will buy one again if I finally decide to live in Thailand full-time, but no use for one currently. Years ago, a mate had a single banger Indian 500 - that was one helluva a bike.
