The fuel cap, oddly enough, seems to be at the back. On top of the rear fender/wheel arch.

Vtwins do have somthing special, took the 916 for a run last week, but the slipper clutch is a bit foked and at 55K for a new one thats how it will stay for a while. It will only run for 5 laps amd then stops. Took it To Ducatisti, the duke dealers in BKK, what a shower of shit those bastards are, I would have done better taking it to Somchai the wave mechanic.
Still thats what you get when you take it to a guy who owns the Ducati shop but Daddy won't let him ride a M/C.

I looked at a few a while back in Bangkok but decided there wasnt enough back up service but now I think about it there isnt really any sort of back up service for any motorcycle up here anyway

I went into the BMW dealer in BKK and had a look at the service dept, they were well equipped, every bit of diognostic equipment available, buit the head mech was a bonzo. He was trying to sort a problem on one of those covered M/C things, it was obvious what the problem was. but he was boxed. I asked him, did you have any training in Germany, no he replied, I only speak Thai. Has any one from BMW been out here, He said yes, but he only arrived here at 2pm each day and was still too pissed from the nite before to do anything and he went home after 2 weeks. I asked him whgat did he do before ? reply was that he worked in the spare parts department.

Hell bells, the Waken looks like it stole the whole design from the Vincent.

m sure you will read the directions but i will reiderate the things not to do. one which is a problem with tillers is that they have no factory shift light. i use mine to make sure i dont hit the rev limiter bc kaboom. major detonination will occur if the motor bounces. also dont spray below 5k, also will lead to detonation and the most obvious is dont spray with the motor not running or when idleing... enjoy and please for the sake of all that is holy, start with the smallest shot. i wired my bike up so that when the nitrous is activated the horn button sprays it but when deactivated its the horn again. some like to use a wot controller but id rather have finger control...

Yeh ok if you had a shop you could charge people to adjust their standard ECU but not as good as the Powercommander set up IMO. With the new set up I can change maps while riding and data log as well as store as many maps as I like and if I ever get serous I could connect a air shift and it would change up for me as well while you just stay on the gas .
There is some nice gear on that other link but pity about the price as I would love a fully digital dash

Yes I have read all of that stuff but its not as bad as that guy says there is a few guys on there that say they have hit the rev limiter many times with no ill affect and hit the nos by accident while idling with no ill affects. But yeh I will take care. And most of them are running a different system to what I will be running
Just think if I blew it up it would be a good excuse to build a really fast motor

Well, the CDI has arrived (thanks to Rigger) So by this time tomorrow hopefully,(knock on wood) I will be racing back from Korat...
