wow,
good thread
what a series of nice cars
funny though, there are quite a few classics/vintages in almost mint condition in BKK
In a temple yard somewhat SSW of central BKK there are virtually HEAPS of old Benzes, some of them in fairly good condition.
Also a number of other European cars.
Fantastic place to walk around.
My previous list was more a 'Wish List', here are some examples of cars that I'm giving actual consideration to buying:
Top speed had hugely funny episode
My Porch Boxter. A real chick magnet. Two hot ones and one dog.Originally Posted by chassamui

My grudging american efforts.
And of course, the ultamate example of American engineering...
Or the muscle car to beat all muscle car the 1968 426 Hemi Roadrunner
Lotus Elan S2 in British Racing Green. Perfect!
I would love to cross the country in one of these old beauties.
As big as a small chicken ranch with bed springs to match. You could live in this mini apartment on wheels.
I have. Great fun unless you have two screaming, fidgeting, squabbling toddlers in the back.Originally Posted by chassamui

a real beauty, an Aston Martin Le Mans
Only about 130 of them were made; my dad's one came 11th in the 1933 Le Mans
I can still remember him swearing and cursing as he tried to get the head gasket to seal properly. Turned out, as it was a copper gasket, it needed annealing before refitting, then it was fine
I have reported your post
his friend had a beautiful AM Ulster, a real classic even then
the fastest car I have owned was a Lancia Monte Carlo SII, with some serious engine mods; I got to 140mph on the M11 and chickened out
It was a very well balanced mid engined coupe
Pininfarina bodied, it was a beautiful car for those days, although rust prone
No Kids, just a mattress in case I bump into someone I know.Originally Posted by Norton
