If you honestly think the Cortina and Monaro look the same you should go and have your eyes checked.

Yeah I don't see anything beyond very superficial similarities myself.

Besides, the Monaro would eat the Cortina for breakfast and spit out it's Ford badge.

Nice looking car, although the outside gauges are trying a bit hard. I prefer the look of the HQ 350GTS - but both are Chevy Nova-esque. The one's I drove handled like a cart!

Never owned one, but had a Charger and Falcon GT. In retrospect, those handled equally grimly, and let's not get onto the brakes!
Had an HG Premier with wheezy 253 V8, it was nicknamed THE BARGE for good reason. Traded it for an Alfasud Ti which handled great until it dissolved....

The tubing of the back-wheels gives a hint to the special nature of what would otherwise appear to be just another RX4. This beastie has a 3.9-litre peripheral ported 6B rotary engine, a six-rotor motor. Three conventional 1.3-litre 13B twin-rotor engines mated together.

No word on its performance figures yet - despite appearances it's not actually finished - however you'd have to assume assume that it would be rather rapid! Just to give an idea: a turbo-charged single 13B puts out about 280 hp / 206 kW. Not sure if this one is turbo-charged however even then around 700 hp is probably conservative, not too mention the incredible power-to-weight ratio.
The infamous PPRE 6 Rotor !!

It is alive now and my guess it will push 800hp NA.
