I cant find the actual number yet. Regardless, its a fairly stupid fucking measure as to how good a car is.
Good god you just keep digging yourself deeper and deeper into the dumbshit hole.Originally Posted by pseudolus

Apparently 25% of a Corvette is made in China these days. Nice.
No US cars are 100% made in the US anymore- the Vette scores a 75% rating (surprisingly, that score is 5% less than the Toyota Camry).
Where do they make the electronics for British cars there days- hopefully not Britain- the electronics on the Jaguar my dad had were complete shit (as was the rest of the car).![]()
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

OKey Dokey - Finally I have found some figures, albeit from 2008,.
Total sold world wide of ALL Corvettes; 35,310
Total Exported to Europe; 1,300 (3.7%)
Total Exported to Canada; 643 (1.8%)
Total Exported to Mexico; 32 (0.1%)
The Bowling Green Assembly Plant has released their production figures for the 2012 Model Year Corvette. A total of 11,647 Corvettes were produced.
3.7% of 11,647 is 431. For all of Europe. So out of 740 million people, only 431 of them bought a Corvette. How many 'merkins living in Europe? There is easily over 1000 living in Aberdeen right now. Never saw a Corvette when I lived there either by the way.
I rest my case and the prosecution invites Kuntlin and Brash to start their defence.
End of the road for the Porsche 911 | Total 911In a shock move, Porsche has announced that it will cease production of the 911 in 2013, 50 years after the model debuted.
Porsches cites the decision on dwindling sales of the flagship sportscar.
Hows that for sales numbers ?
Final 2008 Corvette Production Numbers
Who's comparing. I am saying no one buys a Vette outside of the US, and if they do, iti is likely to be a yank. Yanks know fuck all about sports cars in a nutshell.
However, in 2012, Porsche sold 8528 911's in the USA. But the Vette figures is ALL vettes, so at the least you need to include the Boxster as well which was 2894. So that is 11,422 in total.
Porsche 911 Sales Figures - GOOD CAR BAD CAR
Porsche Boxster Sales Figures - GOOD CAR BAD CAR
So, porsche sold 11,422 sports cars in the US in 2012, and Corvette sold 11,647 world wide. Remove the 5.51% of Vette cars sold outside of the US, that means they sold 11,005 cars in the US.
So let's repeat this. Porsche sold more 911's and Boxsters in the USA than Corvette sold cars from their entire range.
Even the Americans don't buy Corvettes anymore... because they are shit.
