My Motorcycle Gear Arrived From the USA-pics

I received the gear I said I was going to order in my other motorcycle thread, and I tried it on and took some pics. I have the following (I'm 6'2" 85kg in decent shape for size info):

Dainese Rebel perforated leather jacket in Euro 54 (US 44)- it's a bit loose in the belly but I needed the width in the shoulders- I added a Forcefield back protector (made specifically for Dainese jackets) and a Dainese thorax/chest protector

AGV Sport perforated Willow pants in 34 (I usually wear 32 but I wanted to make sure the knee protection seated properly and the 34s had a longer inseam- it does, and the pants aren't too loose)

Spidi Race Vent gloves (I would usually wear a large but had to go for XL as the fingers were a bit short for me)

Shoei RF-1100 helmet 'Conqueror' paint scheme in large

Alpinestars Supertech R boots in Euro 46 (US 11.5)- I usually wear 47/12 but they run 1/2 size large

Alpinestars Summer Tech full body undersuit in XL

In the last three pics I'm wearing an Icon Stryker Rig which is impact (not abrasion) protection for the occasional day when I'll ride in the dirt.

While all the gear is fairly heavy, it's perforated for air-flow and hopefully won't be too bad on the bike when moving- stopped or in slow traffic it will be hot, but leather is cheaper than new skin in a crash.

Note the knees/elbows/back appear a bit baggy when I'm standing- it's cut for a riding position, though, and I crouched down in one pic to show that it fits properly.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

    this looks pretty sexy...
(also beware of ladyboys and butterflies...)

things fit perfectly together and fit and suit you very well...

when in bike-position the width of the jacket around the belly is visible...
    but it looks awesome...

your very nice slim in the hips, that makes the leather pants ultra sexy...
you look very good in the outfit...

the boots are gorgeous - never seen such one before...

tips to become a popular fashion blogger

    1. Wear Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots (this is a MUST).

    2. Wear all your rings at the same time. It doesn't matter if they don't match your outfit.

    3. Wear that Michael Kors oversized golden watch.

    4. When you have no new outfit pictures, do a post showcasing your jewelry collection ...

    5. ... or publish an "inspiration" post with 10 completely unrelated pictures and no explanation why you like them. Bonus points if you don't credit the source!

    6. Post 50 pictures of one outfit.

    7. When you eat out, post badly lit, grainy pictures of restaurant food.

    8. Create the illusion that you wear super high heels 24/7 by including them in every outfit shoot.

    9. Wear crosses (regardless of your religion or lack thereof).

    10. Have a photographer boyfriend with DSLR camera in auto-mode follow you everywhere.

    11. Put up a disclaimer saying you'll let your readers know if you're paid or compensated to endorse a certain brand or product. Then don't.

    12. Wear so many "it" designer items at once that you end up looking like you got your outfit at H&M.

    13. Host sponsored giveaways. To enter, people must be your fans on Facebook, follow you on Blogger, Google Friend Connect and Twitter, subscribe via Bloglovin and like the sponsor's Facebook page.

    14. Post pictures of yourself in your bedroom. Pose on your bed to hide the fact that your room is cluttered and untidy.

    15. To get more visits, spam other blogs with two-word comments like "great outfit" followed by links to your blog, Twitter and Facebook pages.

    16. Post ecstatic quasi-reviews of collections from the brands you want to sponsor you.

    17. Wear geeky black thick-rimmed glasses or rapist glasses. Applies especially if you have perfect eyesight and are not actually a geek or rapist!

    18. Design a (shoe, clothing, handbag) collection consisting of items you wouldn't look twice at if you saw them in a store.

    19. Dress differently in everyday life than in outfit pictures.

    20. Own iPads, iPhones and Blackberries. Brag about them regularly by using them in your outfit pictures as "accessories".

Good looking gear. But, I'm having flashbacks to sitting at ten-minute red lights, surrounded by tuk-tuks spewing filth, in 100 degree heat. Flow thru air doesn't do much when you're parked.

Errrr... thanks, Alitongkat- are you a girl (I hope...)

The pants and jacket both have a 360* zipper, but of course they are different companies so are thus incompatible- I had a tailor sew the matching half from the pants into the jacket so they can be connected (which is safer in a crash so the packet doesn't ride up and expose your back- the tailor was a bit annoyed when I made him triple-stitch it with nylon thread, which was tough for him to work with).

test the jacket on the bike - with the wind...
ok - its been changed by tailor, you will keep it...

its perfect in length, in arms...
would be weird, if back and belly are so wide...

you really have the perfect model body, so it should fit...

Absolutely- my plan is to make my bike a 'trailer queen' (which wouldn't happen in the States as my friends would never let me hear the end of it- it's considered a 'sissy' move, but they don't have to deal with Thai heat and humidity)- I am considering buying a two-bike trailer from Upbeat (UPBEAT.CO.TH), getting a hitch mounted on my truck, and just pulling it out to the decent riding roads while enjoying air-conditioned comfort in the city.

if its too wide, maybe return it...

it looks good in length and so, but if its on belly or back too wide, it might unnerve...
You can see two straps on each side which can be tightened- I still have them set loose- it won't be too bad, and I can't go smaller or it won't fit my shoulders and arms, and the chest would be too tight for the thorax protector- the only other option is custom work, which is big $.

DAMN- I knew I forgot something!

I'm ordering a new bike in the next month or two- I'm leaning towards a ZX-14R or possibly an S1000RR, but I haven't decided yet (I might get another Hayabusa as I loved my old one)- I also need to see how a couple of business deals go- if everything collapses I might be on a Honda Click.

I will probably pick up an enduro as well, possibly a KTM, but there's no time-frame for that.

Any big bike I get will be strictly a toy for weekend rides- it won't be used for 'transportation', but rather just for sport-riding in some of the areas of LOS I haven't visited yet- I fully understand riding is a dangerous activity, and I would like to at least minimize the risks associated with it- I realize it's way more comfortable to ride in shorts and a T-shirt, but I'll deal with the heat- crashing sucks in any situation- crashing without gear add a few orders of magnitude to how much it sucks.
