Why a pm dissapears when I hit the back button

I think Butter is trying to have a lend of me.
It's lucky I have BS filter installed next to my spell check, on account that this desktop was bought in Aus (not by me) and it may actually have legal Windows and has the WinXP disc in the carry bag.
Who knows what mayhem I could do if I had 1/2 an idea what to do with it.Sometimes it pays to be a self confessed computer illiterate.

re. the OP, before leaving an unfinished long PM or post to look at something else, I used to select everything I'd written and do a "copy", just in case it disappeared or the browser crashed when I went back to it. For even longer posts, I'd even save the copied text into Notepad on my desktop.
