what is the best way to embed my video clips on Teakdoor. My digital camera produces these clips as AVI files but they are a bit meaty (around 15-20 MB)
I have uploaded one file to Youtube but cant seem to embed it on the page here?
thanks

uploading to youtube has reduced the video size and also the quality so i am not over pleased with it
Ok you can now upload videos to teakdoor, they got to be less than 10mb and you need to convert them to wmv files., just click advanced and scroll down and you will see the upload thingy![]()

So Slimboy's threads will be another no-no for me, after Wayne Kerr's, w hich I enjoyed before.
Despite having all the extensions, firefox freezes everytime I open a thread with a vid, so I don't.
Even if it didn't, I don't wanna wait for 2 hours for a vid to load.
I'll have to look for another forum soon. Thank you.
stroller on your options dont let them open wmv and vid files.
ok rigger and cmn have been added to the video user group
I would urge everyone to post videos in their threads.Originally Posted by stroller

options tools, same place as it has always been.
^ Clear as mud, as usual.
I guess he is referring to your browser option settings since there is no such settings in your control panel at TD.Originally Posted by Marmite the Dog
If there is, then please enable it for me so I can disable videos.
Currently, the choice available is only whether to show images or not.
Maybe, but there isn't the option to turn vids off in FF2 - not that I can find, anyway.Originally Posted by lom
can anyone recommend any good software for converting my .avi files to .wmv ?
if the program will also allow me to edit the video clips then so much the better.
thanks
test!
Hehe, page not frozen!
No, it's an extension, sorry forgot what it's called. It shows up as "MediaPlayerConnectivity" under "Tools". Ironically you need to have an extension for the option to then ignore and not play the darn vids. I updated it (didn't work with my Firefox which updated itself) and disabled "autoplay" in the configuration.Originally Posted by Marmite the Dog
How about a program to convert 3GPP videos to avi ?
