Over priced? Compared to prices in Spain of course. Compared to equivalent in Bangkok probably not.

Thai hookers in Paris are far more expensive than in Bangers Butters and not as good. Does not make them low value.

I prefer it dryish too, that's the advantage of bomba rice, but it's still more usual to see it cooked in broth in a paella pan than baked. In fact I've never seen it baked.

I suspect they freeze it, and for each order, put a portion in the oven to reheat

if Gordon Ramsey was to visit that place, he would probably be throwing that paella into the face of the that restaurant owner and his chef while hurling insult to them

As it's baked it's clearly not authentic but that's not important, nobody expects authentic Spanish food in BKK. Tasting good is good enough. BTW, what do you think gourmandes means?

Ah, i think you've got it by jove and i agree that its that taste that counts. Taste counts a great deal in authenticity in my opinion as well as enjoyment.

Paella I had in Tenerife 5 odd years ago.
