So this fella walks into a Chinese restaurant.
It has been raining and he is soaked.

The waitreess asks his why he has no umbrella.
"The weather was dry and sunny this morning" he replies.

"Every morning I look a my goldfish and he tells me what the weather will be", the waitress informs him.

Later in the evening our man comments upon this to another waiter, who, in turn, goes to seak with the young waitress.

A serious discussion is followed by roars of laughter whereupon the waiter returns to the customer.

"Migol Fish"

Once I was in a restaurant in Mexico with a couple of friends. One had an upset stomach but didn't want to leave the restaurant so asked the waiter in Spanish to go get her some Alka-Seltzer.

The waiter didn't understand Alka-Seltzer and looked confused. The other friend pipes up and says in English, you know "Plop plop fizz fizz." (Old Alka-Seltzer jingle)

The waiter's face lit up! Yes! Yes! He knows!

He comes back to the table and puts a bowl of tarter sauce down. We all look up at him.

The waiter is beaming. He says to us "Plop plop fish fish!"

When I typed it I realised it wouldn't come across as well as it does live. I works well as "goldfish" and "Migolfish" when spoken but loses something in print.

I'll remember your suggestion if I ever have to type it again.
