In the good old days when I travelled travelled by double decker buses and girls wore miniskirts if your date "positioned" her hand bag behind her arse when climbing the stairs you knew you were going to have put in some effort that night. Those that didn't, you knew were a sure thing.

To young for a car driving licence, scooter was never reliable enough.

City buses were timely, cheap and safe where I grew up.
