I don't think I like the implication - this is a competition, hours of time and effort went into the composition and lighting of that shot, in fact I had to wait several hours for the natural light to be at it's optimum level.

well looking at the rules, i think that photo can still be entered, you can post three photo's which can't have been posted elsewhere on the forum, as the photo is only posted on this thread its not posted elsewhere and his second entry could be the resized photo.

I will really have to get over to Myanmar someday. It's photos like this that show you what you are missing. Looking on google images it seems there are dozens of ballon flights over the area and there are lots of very similar pictures on display. I suspect the photo was taken from another balloon, what a great way to see the scenery.
