"Apparently, there were cardboard boxes scattered over the freeway from some asshole not securing them properly. As my brother was riding past, a box was picked up by the wind, hit him in the face. He fell backwards off the bike, and slid into an HOV lane where a bus was coming.

This is where people's skepticism start. The bus didn't quite HIT him. He slid under the bus (between the two front wheels, thank god) and some part of his clothes got hooked onto the bus.

The scrape on his helmet is so deep and even because he was dragged by the bus until it came to a stop. If he had just come to a stop on his own, the helmet wouldn't be like this, but since it took as long for him to stop as the bus took, this is what happened."

At this year’s Geneva International Motor Show, tire manufacturer Goodyear unveiled a concept tire dubbed the Eagle-360. The spherical, 3-D printed tire is aimed at the long-term future when autonomous driving is expected to be more mainstream, allowing for what they call ‘ultimate manoeuvrability’.

The concept tire also features sensors that communicated road and weather conditions to the vehicle’s control system. According to a recent study from Navigant Research, 85 million autonomous-capable vehicles are expected to be sold annually around the world by 2035.

In this beautiful self-portrait, we see photographer Greg Rakozy stargazing somewhere where there isn’t light pollution. On Instagram, Greg says the photo was a long exposure (~25 sec.) taken with a fisheye lens.

NASA’s Cassini spacecraft captured this incredible view of Saturn moons, Enceladus and Tethys, in perfect alignment with the planet’s rings. NASA adds:
Since the two moons are not only aligned, but also at relatively similar distances from Cassini, the apparent sizes in this image are a good approximation of the relative sizes of Enceladus (313 miles or 504 kilometers across) and Tethys (660 miles or 1,062 kilometers across).

This view looks toward the unilluminated side of the rings from 0.34 degrees below the ring plane. The image was taken in red light with the Cassini spacecraft narrow-angle camera on Sept. 24, 2015. The image was obtained at a distance of approximately 1.3 million miles (2.1 million kilometers) from Enceladus. Image scale on Enceladus is 7 miles (12 kilometers) per pixel. Tethys was at a distance of 1.6 million miles (2.6 million kilometers) with a pixel scale of 10 miles (16 kilometers) per pixel. [source]

Believe it or not, there are 62 moons with confirmed orbits around Saturn, 53 of which have names and only 13 of which have diameters larger than 50 kilometers.
Particularly notable among Saturn’s moons are Titan, the second-largest moon (after Jupiter’s Ganymede) in the Solar System, with a nitrogen-rich Earth-like atmosphere and a landscape including hydrocarbon lakes and dry river networks; and Enceladus, which is seemingly similar in chemical makeup to comets, emits jets of gas and dust and may harbor liquid water under its south pole region.
