Can't say I've encountered many Singaporeans with Seppo accents, they have their own brand, 'Singlish'. The only ones are actors or musicians

Wind has knocked loads of trees over blocking nearly all the roads in my area, took ages to get home.

I am in the process of renovating 1 house and removing stuff from another house which will then be demolished.

I am building a laundry and removed a 80cm wide PVC door to be fitted to the new construction so I purchased a PVC door frame which I assembled ready to be fitted.

When I assembled the frame, and before fitting it to the brickwork opening, I laid the door into the frame jam and found the jam opening 40mm bigger than the door corresponding dimension which meant I needed to cut the frame top panel to make the door fit without a big gap.

Fuck that and I took it back and had a nightmare getting a refund. She, the shop owner, told me I had opened the box and assembled it so no refund. Then she told me the frames were made that way so you could adjust it. I explained I worked in the plastic industry and PVC frames and doors are not made that way. I basically told her it wasn't correct and I wanted my money back.

Finally she agreed to look at some pictures I took and used my tape measure to confirm the error and then called her employee to remove the frame from my car and walked off without saying anything to me. Her employee then returned about 10 minutes later with my refund.

What a fucking nightmare and bitch.
