Strange, very strange.

Strange, very strange.
This forum has gone mad, Motoring in the Moan thread, MODing in the Diner thread....ah its Friday, where is FaRT?
Mongolia is cold
Ferrrk, you're as desperate as Lu to find something to dig at. Ferk knows why.
Your comment makes no sense whatsover.
You're pointing to Cyrille's stupid post which assumes that none of my son's friends can drive, and you say that implies my son is not a smart boy.
Strange....very weird.
Thanks for the red.
The whole post you made makes no logical sense. You say he was "smart" to buy a shift drive, then, that he is always the designated driver. When people question you on this (the link to a shift drive and always being the designated driver) you then point out that he is the only one with a car.
So, explain to us lesser mortals why he was "smart" to buy a shift drive? As the only one with a car he could have bought *any* car and he would still be the effing driver.
I do give people a lot of slack, but you really are coming over as daft as Lulu says you are.
There have possibly been posters more stupid than Maanaam on TD, but surely none so endlessly in need of putting his idiocy on display daily.
You're welcome.
You coming over as quite daft.
He's smart because he is, and picking a manual is smart because they have fewer problems and can be push-started if the battery is flat. To imply he's not smart based on Cyrill'e comment, or on your slight walk-back above, is a tad mean. Don't be like Lulu and slur my family if you have a gripe against me. That's what the red was for.
Reading comprehension difficulties? I alreay explained to Cyrille that just because he's the only one with a car doesn't mean he's the only one capable of driving. It's that his friends only drive automatics.
Ooopsssss, was that another ommission? Yes it was. Oh my Goooood! FFS, I didn't explain, in an unimportant inconsequential, offhand post that my son's friends are mostly licensed but only drive automatics.
Did all this dialogue really matter? FFS.
"I do give people a lot of slack, but you really are coming over as daft as Lulu says you are."
Cujo need something explained, and I asked what.
That sparked the likes of Numbprick and Lu, then you and Cy to show just how much you need to find fault, resulting in all of you looking a bit foolish.
I didn't realise you guys read my posts with such relish that you need unimportant details explained, or with such avid interest to find something to jump on that you will imply my son is not smart because he bought a manual/is lumbered with being desiganted driver, whatever.
To twist what I said into a family comment is way out of line. I was asking *why* you thought he was smart to buy a shift, and how that linked being a designated driver. No walk back, just poor comprehension on your part (again).
Is he off again? All a paragraphin'. Taking on all and sundry in his imagined internet war?
I'l take on anyone who slags off my family, you for instance.
I'll also take on anyone who tries so very hard to find a fault in anything I post. If I make a mistake, that's fine, but to complain I didn't explain that my son's friends only drive autos and don't have cars is very nitpicky childish. As if it mattered.
It's not like this was you saying fire extinguishers have volatile chemicals in them and me laughing.
^^^
That was pretty funny.
Still unable to solve it?
Learn the difference between numbers and digits yet?
'Math teacher'. *titter*
You do ya think yer kidding bud.
No, that bit was clearly implied.
I also understood that he's smart because he can drive a manual, unlike his friends.
What's puzzling is that this was followed by stating he's always the designated driver - there is nothing smart about that. (Note that I haven't said that he isn't smart)
Just bought some bread from Tops. It was called Sour Dough bread. Now I've never eaten sourdough bread before but I suspect it actually has some flavour. The shit Tops sold me had as much taste as something a four year old could make with flour and water and a bucket and spade. Bastards.
